FOREO LUNA

I was recently sent the FOREO LUNA* (£145 - available at Selfridges or online where FOREO will ship internationally - see here) to review.

A cleansing device which uses T-sonic technology for deep yet gentle cleansing. It is advised to fully charge the device before first use and the charge should last for 300 uses!

To use: remove all make up and then dampen the face and apply your cleanser. Wet the LUNA brush surface and then press the start button (in the centre). Start by cleansing the chin before moving up to the jaw and over the cheek in upward strokes.  Repeat on the other side of the face.  Cleanse from the centre of the forehead out. Repeat on the other side.  Then cleanse each side of the nose. To cleanse under the eyes press the centre button a second time for a more gentle cleanse.

After one minute the LUNA will emit a glow - time to stop and rinse your face. The LUNA will switch off after five minutes.

I love the fact that you can use the LUNA in the shower.  I came out in spots when I first started using the device.  I've now been using it for over a month and my skin is radiant, clearer and I find my moisturiser absorbs better.

No need for replacement heads - the LUNA comes with a 2-year Limited Warranty and a 10-year Quality Guarantee.

Do you use a LUNA? What are your thoughts?  Would you buy one?

  2. This looks interesting! I'd love to give it a go before I spent £100 on one though, even if I could only try it on my hand to see what it feels like.

  4. A couple of my friends have had this recently and they have been really impressed with it. I can't justify spending that much at the moment, but hopefully it will come down in price.

  5. I've been using the Luna mini version for the past 2 weeks. I LOVE it! It's easy to hold, the silicone pimples are so soft & gentle the skin. I really like that it lets you know when to move to the next area & that it has a gentler setting so you can use it around the eyes too. In two weeks my complexion is smoother & clearer, and I'm convinced it helps tone your face too, giving it a wee work out as you cleanse. As you mentioned, I feel as if I'm using less in the way of serums & moisturisers, so it saves a bit of dosh with product consumption going down a bit!
The mini is more affordable at £99 too. A definite thumbs up from me!
