Veggie Growing - Update 6

My last veggie growing update was in October and you can see my post here.  I've not been down to the plot much over the months of November and December but I was over on Sunday do do a bit of weeding.

I've been buying seeds for the next growing season which I am excited about!

my plot is the one to the left of the pic beside the path

my herbs have survived the winter months so far! thyme, rosemary, parsley, sage, lavender

this is the total plot area - there are 12 in total

  1. More of these posts please! I'm just about to move house and will finally have a little garden of my own so am thinking of having a veg plot! I've already got lots of packets of seeds to plant :)

  2. Ahhh nothing beats homegrown. I miss my little allotment, we were on the council waiting list nearly 6 years before ours came up. We loved it and got many a harvest from it, but had to let it go about 18 months ago, changes in our working lives meant time was limited so it was the first to go :( I do still do a few bits and pieces in pots in my garden but there's nothing like having proper beds. Cannot wait to see the growth in it over the coming seasons so keep the posts coming!

    1. Awwh that's a shame but it does take up a lot of time - more than you realise. Good that you can still grow stuff at home though. I will do - thanks! x

    1. I know! It saves so much money - want to add to what I have next year - definitely mint, oregano and chives and maybe some others. You could grow lavender in a pot - even on a windowsill :) x
