My last veggie growing update was in October and you can see my post here. I've not been down to the plot much over the months of November and December but I was over on Sunday do do a bit of weeding.
I've been buying seeds for the next growing season which I am excited about!
my plot is the one to the left of the pic beside the path
my herbs have survived the winter months so far! thyme, rosemary, parsley, sage, lavender
this is the total plot area - there are 12 in total
More of these posts please! I'm just about to move house and will finally have a little garden of my own so am thinking of having a veg plot! I've already got lots of packets of seeds to plant :)
ReplyDeleteIf you click on the label veggie growing you will see all my posts. How exciting getting a garden of your own! Good luck with the growing x
DeleteAhhh nothing beats homegrown. I miss my little allotment, we were on the council waiting list nearly 6 years before ours came up. We loved it and got many a harvest from it, but had to let it go about 18 months ago, changes in our working lives meant time was limited so it was the first to go :( I do still do a few bits and pieces in pots in my garden but there's nothing like having proper beds. Cannot wait to see the growth in it over the coming seasons so keep the posts coming!
ReplyDeleteAwwh that's a shame but it does take up a lot of time - more than you realise. Good that you can still grow stuff at home though. I will do - thanks! x
DeleteWow that's great to be able to grow your own herbs, and the ones you're growing sound amazing, have always wanted to grow my own lavender! x
ReplyDeleteI know! It saves so much money - want to add to what I have next year - definitely mint, oregano and chives and maybe some others. You could grow lavender in a pot - even on a windowsill :) x
DeleteI can't tell you how much I envy you your little garden! I hope the planting weather is good this year.

DeleteLast season was a bit of a fail fore me, but I want to try again this year, so I'm fully inspired by this. Happy growing! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Happy growing to you too :) I think last year's weather was a bit of a downer for all veggie growers tbh x
DeleteI love this, I want to grow my own veg! I'm hoping to get some big pots for the balcony but I think My rabbit would just eat everything!
