Do you tone?

I'm currently alternating between two L'Occitane toners.

The Fresh Face Water (100ml) I picked up in a Christmas sales pack for £5 (also included trial size of cleanser and moisturiser).  You can use this product as a eye make up remover and a toner.  It also moisturises the skin and is alcohol free.  I tend to use it as a toner as it doesn't remove make up well.  Unsure if I'd re-purchase though but its nice to use and lightly scented.

Immortelle Essential Water Face (200ml - £17).  I love this toner.  It's also alcohol free and enriched with Immortelle Floral Water and Green Tea extract.  It softens and refreshes the skin.

Have you used either of these toners?  What is your favourite toner or do you skip this step?

  1. I am currently using my Clinique toner and I like it. I don't see the importance of it but I like the way the whole process makes my skin feel :)

  5. I've never been convinced about the real need for toner. I have one, but only use it occasionally. Instead I'm a recent convert to "double cleansing" and I'm finding it really effective.

  6. I'm a recent convert to toning after trying the Dr Hauschuka one. I'm not sure if it is an essential step but it does leave my skin feeling nicely refreshed and very soft. Will need to take a look at the L'Occitane ones soon.
