I picked up some books on Tuesday - 3 for 2 and I had £5 worth of points to redeem. I'm currently reading Fifty Shades Darker so I picked up the third book.
As I've read so many great reviews about The Hunger Games I chose this as my second book and my third book is The Book of Summers - I liked the sound of it from the blurb on the back and scanning a few pages. Have you read any of these?
I'm reading Fifty Shades Darker at the moment too! Really enjoying it in a guilty pleasures kinda way ;) Love The Hunger Games x

know what you mean, me too ;) It was your review that lead me to pick up The Hunger Games - thanks! x
DeleteI'm sure you'll love The Hunger Games! P.s have emailed you :) x
DeleteMy daughter bought me the Hunger Games for Mother's Day. I've got so many on the go at the moment as if I start one I have to finish it or it annoys me as it might have got good, I'm half way through 'Before I go to Sleep' which was on the best seller list so I felt it was a must-read but it's just ok so far. I've also got the first Game of Thrones Book as loved the TV series so looking forward to reading that. I must finish the other two first though!
ReplyDeleteSorry, that comment just turned into a novella of it's own, I'm afraid I've never been able to say anything succinctly! x
I loved Before I go to Sleep. Hubby says if I like the hunger games I'll have to read game of thrones - so we'll see! x
DeleteI'll stick with it then sometimes I can't get into them fast enough and I get bored, fickle, moi!? X
DeleteI read all 3 books of Fifty Shades of Grey - Loved them, and am sad they'rent any more :((.
ReplyDeleteHunger games are awesome as well...altough the third book goes too much in details of her feelings and felt a little boring...
I love the first one and am enjoying the second - not looking forward to finishing the trilogy though! Looking forward to Hunger Games though x
DeleteI'm reading Fifty Shades of Grey at the moment, but I've read The Hunger Games twice now, and in the middle of rereading the second one. I've not heard of your other book, I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteooh that is a good recommendation for The Hunger Games x
DeleteRead the Hunger Games a couple of years ago before I even knew there was a film on the way and thoroughly enjoyed it. Feel like I'm the only only person who hasn't read Fifty Shades of Grey yet as its everywhere! I've read the first few chapters on kindle preview and wasn't that gripped, does it get better?

DeleteIt must be a Marmite book!
DeleteFantastic deals. I really liked Hunger Games. I finished the seqeuals already. Super fast reads. I'm very sorry to say this but I just did not like 50 Shades. No idea why.

DeleteHusband brought me The Hunger Games set when I was dying for them after seeing the movie (because he liked the movie and I mentioned I was after the set). I want to try The 50 shades just to seee what the fuss is about so keeping an eye out for that. Haven't heard Book of Summer so I'll need to check that out. Reading How To Be A Woman because I managed to get it 2nd hand after a hunt. x
