Highland Soap Co: Gardeners Soap & Organic Hand Cream

My friend Julie brought me this little set home from her holidays on Barra in the summer. It's the perfect set for gardeners and great to use after a weekend spent at the plot.

The set comes in a cute little re-usable jute gift bag.

I haven't previously used anything from the Highland Soap Co which is a family run company based in the Scottish Highlands.  Products are hand made in their workshop in Lochaber. Using fresh and local ingredients soaps take four weeks to cure and are made in small batches. The soaps are SLS free and the lotions and creams don't contain any parabens. Packaging is recyclable and all products are suitable for Vegetarians.

Gardeners Hand Soap (190g) - this is the perfect soap to rid your hands of dirt and grime after working in the garden.  It contains organic Nettle Leaf extract, Lavender, Eucalyptus and Tea Tree essential oils which are antiseptic and help to heal.  The soap also contains wild nettle leaves and pumice to exfoliate and remove ground in dirt.  It leaves the hands clean and soft.

Gardeners Hand Cream (120ml) - a deliciously scented hand cream which deeply moisturises the hands.  The cream is made with Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Lavender, Chamomile, Nettle, Olive Oil and Aloe Vera.  The cream soothes and nourishes.

The perfect pampering duo to use after being at the veggie plot.

Have you used any products from the Highland Soap Co?

  2. I bought a few of their products last year and wasn't overly impressed with them, but that was partly down to the scent or formula of the product. One product I did enjoy was the raspberry bubble bath. I do love all their packaging and little touches. I'd like to try their body lotions. xxx
