Natural Wisdom is a small British Skincare Company which was founded in 2007 by Maeve Smith, a homeopath who is passionate about organic agriculture, ecology, herbal medicine and nutrition.
Products are free from SLS, parabens, artificial colours and fragrances, petroleum, alcohol, silicones, solvents etc.
The products are hand made in small batches. If you make an account you are then eligible for any special offers, free P&P and reward points worth 10% when you register. If you send your empty bottle back you receive £2 in reward points - a nice extra offer! The products are beautifully packaged - who wouldn't love having one of these gorgeous products on their bathroom shelf.
My purchase - Rose & Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydrating Toner (50ml - £14) came packaged in recyclable materials - Maeve suggests you can re-use the packaging or recycle it. The toner is 82% organic and comes in a spray bottle which you can apply on cotton wool or spray directly onto clean hands and then pat onto your face - I like this option.
Enriched with Hyaluronic Acid (which makes it thicker than a normal toner), aloe vera, comfrey extract and Vitamin C.
It pre-moisturises as well as tones and deeply hydrates the skin (it smells amazing too!) - with rosewater and pomegranate - to protect and nourish.
It is also a multi-purpose product (the kind I love) as it can be used as a gentle cleanser for on the go. It's also great at removing eye make up leaving the skin feeling clean and fresh.
To use - apply a small amount to clean hands/cotton pad after cleansing and pat onto the face and neck. Follow with Rosehip & Pomegranate Antioxidant Treatment Oil, moisturiser or Rosehip & Pomegranate Antioxidant Balm.
I love this toner and one I am happy to permanently add to my skin care routine as my skin loves it. I now want to try more products from Natural Wisdom. A couple of things I'm fancying trying are Raspberry & Shea Butter Body Lotion and Rose & Pomegranate Clarifying Gel Cleanser. Have you used any Natural Wisdom products?
