Amarya Review - October

Much as I love Balance Me products I was disappointed to find that this month's Amarya Beauty Box only contained a selection of Balance Me - two items which I stocked up on with magazine freebies/received in other beauty boxes.  (There was also some black powder over the products making them look quite grubby).

Here is what's included this month -

Wonder Eye Cream 7ml - I picked up a few of these as freebies with Glamour magazine recently.

Balancing Face Moisturiser 20ml - As above plus I received one in another beauty box.

The remaining two products I haven't tried before - yippee!

Citrus & Spice Hand and Body Wash and Citrus & Spice Hand and Body Lotion - both 55ml - they smell really nice!

I will use everything but it wasn't the most exciting box ever.  What are your thoughts?

  1. I've never even heard of Amarya! I'm so out of the loop at the moment. I think if a box is going to be all one brand it needs to be advertised like that, though saying that I wouldn't be disappointed! X

  2. That's a little gutting, especially when you consider half of these were in a £2 magazine last month xx

  4. Oh gwad I hate balance me! The eye cream does nothing, I would be gutted with this box :(
How does BM make any money if they are constantly giving out freebies!

    1. I do like Balance Me products but I feel I've had loads recently. I think I'm disappointed that the whole box is balance me! Mind you the body products included I've not tried before x

    2. I feel the same as Honey Go Lightly, I think Balance Me is overpriced for what it is. They were not happy I said that in a review and emailed me to justify their prices. Also the hand lotion contains LANOLIN which I find beyond annoying especially when they try and tell you it's a miracle cure for eczema, well it might be for some but many people (including me) are allergic to it. Plus most natural brands avoid the use of lanolin in their products. Sorry rant over, Balance Me just bugs me a lot! lol

    3. I normally love Balance me especially the cleansers but there has been so much about lately and I stocked up on Glamour freebies. Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Balance me especially when some of their ingredients don't agree with your skin x

  5. I have just received a 'Balance Me' hand cream in my recent 'Latest In Beauty' purchase. It smells really nice, and is making my hands nice & soft.

It is nice to get a selection of products though, but I'm sure you will put them to good use! :)

    1. I really like the Balance Me hand cream, finding it super-moisturising and love the scent. I'm sure I'll manage to use them up as you say :) x

  6. Why so much BalanceMe?! Their stuff is everywhere. I'd definitely be a bit disappointed with this box, you've always seemed to have such good Amarya boxes so this is a bit of a let down!

  7. I hate to say anything bad about amarya but... the black packaging was awful and the samples... well not the best. I wonder if this is the quality we can expect from now on.
