I first tried Zing Organics when I bought an artisan gourmet seasoning from Cranachan & Crowdie, a beautiful store on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh selling unusual foods and crafts from Scotland.
I came across Zing Organics again quite recently and bought a couple of beauty items. Everything is really exquisite and the scents are amazing. Founder Kirsty developed sensitivities during pregnancy and decided to create her own natural perfumes and candles. Visit Kirsty at her studio workshop in Tarbet, Loch Fyne, Argyll. Everything is beautifully packaged, eco-friendly and with recyclable packaging.
The parcel was an absolute joy to open. A nice touch is you can choose a SAMPLE with your order. Onto my purchases:
Yogi's Chakra Balancing Perfumes (£21.50) - I chose the one which appealed to me most - Sacral Chakra with Cardamon, Vanilla and Pink Grapefruit. It's a beautiful spicy scent with a touch of citrus and vanilla.
These are presented in glass bottles with a vivid aqua tone and pipette. Once filled with the perfumed oils the bottles "take on a multi toned greeny/blue feel which conjures the spirit, purity and freedom of yoga practice on a pristine beach".
"Each aroma has been devised to provide Chakra by Chakra balancing properties. Apply to the temples or pulse points during practice or meditations to embrace and enhance the yoga experience".
You can also apply a drop between your palm and inhale for the perfect start to your day.
My second buy was Aromasoar Solid Perfume Mini Size - in French Bourbon, Geranium & May Chang (2ml - £17.50) which is a gorgeous perfume (it's ideal for travelling or to pop in a pocket or handbag). It was also a Bronze winner in the Natural Beauty Bible by Green Parent Magazine 2016.
There are four blends to choose from and again I went for the one which most appealed (I now want the rest!). The solid perfume balm is presented in a little sliding lid tin. Apply to pulse points to lift your mood. 100% Certified Organic ingredients.
I've not tried these Gourmet Infused Basil Sea Salts yet. They are perfect to take pasta dishes to another level!
