I've been trying out a couple of shampoos from the new range at AA Skincare.
They are absolutely fantastic, natural, free from parabens, sulphates, artifical fragrances and great value for money and the packaging is recyclable. Essential oils are combined with natural extracts and healing herb powders.
There are 5 to chose from. See more details HERE.

My favourite of the two I've been testing is Peony, Bay & Brahmi Nourishing Shampoo* (£5.94 for 250ml). As well as smelling gorgeous this shampoo is really effective. It calms, balances and contains natural Peony extract which acts as an anti-inflammatory to help maintain a healthy scalp and boost hair growth. The shampoo contains antioxidants which nourish and repair while Tulsi Powder purifies and helps to promote hair growth. Brahmi Powder also encourages hair growth while essential oils of Geranium repairs and strengthens, Palmarosa nourishes and helps to reduce breakage, Rosemary helps to stimulate growth and Bay Laurel helps with hair growth and a healthy scalp.
The second one I've been trying is Rosemary, Sage & Burdock Lift & Repair Shampoo* (£5.94 for 250ml) which repairs and uplifts. Burdock Root Extract is rich in amino acids and calcium to help with growth and strength while essential oils of Rosemary stimulates growth and adds volume. Sage is a good source of zinc, potassium and vitamins and helps to maintain healthy hair. Bay Laurel promotes a healthy scalp, Geranium repairs and protects while Basil is stimulating and helps to boost circulation and growth.
To use: wet hair, massage shampoo into hair before rinsing.
I've been really impressed with the performance of both of these shampoos. They are very gentle, smell nice, lather well and leave the hair looking shiny and healthy and are great value.

ReplyDeleteI would choose the nourishing shampoo. I have managed to grow my hair below my shoulders for the first time in years (I kept letting people convince me to have it cut!) but now it seems to have slowed down. I am doing everything I can to promote growth and keep my hair healthy. :) x
