After #NoBuyJanuary I went off the rails spending wise. See what I bought here - all very lovely but I could have done without.
So on 23 February I embarked on another spending ban with an end date of around my birthday in April...but I've decided to keep it going as long as I can (if I'm lucky enough to receive any birthday money I will have a beauty buy or two) but I'd like to see if I can keep the ban up for the rest of the year (or at least until the awesome Liberty GWP deal in October). I know the only things I'll run short of are deodorant and foundation.
Talking of which...I picked up L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau de Teint Foundation in Shade 110 Warm Ivory (£8.99 for 20ml in Superdrug). I usually favour Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Foundation but it is so expensive. The L'Oreal one is a good dupe and less than a third of the price.
I also had my eyebrows threaded yesterday but needs must! Here are my Wants.
I tried samples of the De Mamiel Rose Lip Balm and the Oskia Renaissance Hand Cream recently and it was love at first try.
Antipodes Delight Hand & Body Cream is still on my wishlist from January. I'm struggling to find a UK stockist for this one.
Bloom Remedies Peppermint & Lemongrass Foot Balm* - Marie very kindly sent me a sample of this gorgeous balm. It cares for and nourishes dry and cracked feet. It featured in my A Pamper for Valentine's Day post.
Are you on a Spending Ban at the moment?

I can vouch for how GORGEOUS Antipodes Delight smells! The Joyful one is my favorite too.
ReplyDelete:) ooh makes me want it more! That's good to know x
DeleteHm if you are in London at some point, highstreet Kensington wholefoods store stocks antipodes, pretty sure they have that product too xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know. Should be in London later in the year :) x
DeleteAntipodes Delight sounds interesting. I'm using their Divine facial oil at the moment and loving it x
ReplyDeleteI first spotted it after reading Kat's (Tales of a pale face) review and instantly wanted it! I love Divine Face oil too. Would like to try some more skincare this year x

good luck! we can help each other x
DeleteReal Foods has got Antipodes... I've tried their rosehip oil, which seemed to make quite a difference and now trying their skin plumping serum, which I don't think is... xe
ReplyDeleteHi Eva love having a browse in there at their beauty stuff - must have another look soon. Your skin is lovely whatever you are using works x
DeleteThanks very much. I'll check you out! x
ReplyDeleteGood luck with keeping it going! I will try along side you x
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam! Good to hear :) x
DeleteI admire your dedication. I have just made a sneaky Bodhi purchase. Need to crack down again.
ReplyDeletethanks! I think that's allowed if you bought from cutecosmetics! x
Deleteoh, I really want to try this foundation, since I love the maestro. do you rate it as a good dupe? I heard it accentuates dry patches :( xx
ReplyDeleteI think it's a good dupe with a nice colour. It's a little bit runnier than Maestro and I found it a bit greasy on my skin after a few hours but for the price you can't go wrong! x
DeleteI have been reading your blog through after coming across your blog after doing a google search for a product. I especially like seeing your wants wish list. The reason I'm commenting on this one, is because I have recently purchased the Bloom Remedies foot balm and I love it. The smell is lovely to. It is fast becoming my favourite foot product.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Gorgeous isn't it. Their Sandalwood & Ylang Ylang Rescue Balm is lovely too x
