I was recently sent Oqibo Hydra Restore Cream* (100ml - £33) to try and review (as well as sachet samples of the whole range - Purifying Cleanser & Toner, Skin Refining Exfoliator, Intense Moisture Defence and Hydra Restore Cream).
Launched online in 2000 the Oqibo range is small and simple and packaging is recylable. The company support Next Chapter Charity - they donate a portion of their revenue to help people write a new chapter in their lives - I think this is kinda cool!
Hydra Restore Cream* is lightweight and easily absorbed, smells fresh and leaves the skin hydrated, soft and feeling comfortable. It cream contains marine extracts, active botanicals and vital minerals.
To use: after cleansing apply to the face and neck. Can also be used as an eye cream
My only negative is that I'd prefer a flip top lid rather than a screw on cap.
Purifying Cleanser & Toner sachet* (250ml - £23.65) - a gentle cleansing gel which smells quite minty. It regulates sebum and balances dryness. Suitable for all skin types. I liked how it mattified and toned the skin as well as cleansing. To use: apply to hands and rub together to create a foam. Apply to damp skin massaging in. Remove with warm water.
Intense Moisture Defence sachet* (100ml - £35.75) - a really rich cream which contains a UV filter. Suitable for dry thirsty skin. It has buttery texture and deeply moisturises (I found this a bit too rich for my skin).
Skin Refining Exfoliator sachet* (50ml - £23.95) - This was my least favourite as I found it wasn't scrubby enough for my liking and far too gentle.
Have you used any Oqibo products?
