*Love Lula: Summer Holiday Beauty

I'm just back from two weeks in fabulous Croatia. We stayed on Korcula Island and had a few nights in Dubrovnik which was both relaxing and busy, busy (I'll share my tips and holiday memories in another post).

#productsamples As a Love Lula Accredited Blogger I selected products which I could use on holiday mainly this month. I did review Kure Bazaar's gorgeous new Ginger Lip & Nail Balm* (see HERE) earlier in the month. Please note there's one affiliate links on my post. So lets begin..

I'm always on the look out for the perfect product to prolong my tan and ORGANii's After Sun Cream (50ml - £3.50)* was both lovely to use being both nourishing and cooling on sun warmed skin (the sun was actually too hot for us to do much sunbathing but we caught some sun walking around).

The light cream absorbs easily onto the skin, has a gentle vanilla scent and nourishes and moisturises the skin. It's great value for money and very effective and I'll be looking to try more products from the range.

To use: apply liberally to clean dry skin after sun exposure.

I'm always on the lookout for the perfect shampoo bar and my hair's been loving this newly launched one by My.Haircare. I chose Rescue My.Hair Hydrate Shampoo Bar (£13.95 for 80g)*. I was impressed by the foamy sudsy lather and the delicious rose/bergamot scent. I've found the shampoo to be very nourishing and rejuvenating on my dry-coloured hair and I can't wait to try the others from the range.

To use: wet hair, lather the bar between your hands like you would a bar of soap before massaging onto the hair. Rinse.

I'm a huge fan of sachets for either try-me or holidays and usually save a stash up for when I know I'm going away. As you'll probably know you can pick up 5 samples (at a minimal charge) with an order of £10+. See the current selection HERE.

I chose 4 x body wash sachets* from Urban Veda, a brand I've tried before and loved. These creamy washes are excellent try me sizes/for the gym/or holidays. I enjoyed using them all - they were soothing and beautifully scented (full sizes now on the wishlist!)

I've fallen totally head-over-heels for Ayumi's Turmeric & Bergamot Range - I especially love their face wash.  Love Lula very kindly gifted me a selection of samples* from the range which I also packed for my holiday - and now of course I need the face wash, face cream and face mask full size! The range has a beautiful uplifting citrus scent and is perfect for summer or for a cheer up as we come into autumn!

Did you pick any of these up for your summer holidays?

*Tropic Skincare: Tahitian Vanilla & Coconut Luxury Bath Foam

*productsample As you know, I'm a huge fan of Tropic Skincare and have been enjoying their Tahitian Vanilla & Coconut Luxury Bath Foam (260ml - £18.00). As well as enjoy the exquisite exotic holiday scent I've been enjoying summertime bathing - sometimes only a bath will cool and refresh!

You only need the tiniest amount for a froth of delicious scented bubbles which will relax and calm both the body and mind and leave the skin deeply nourished and delicately scented.

To use: pour 1-3 capsules under running water (less is definitely more!) swish to create millions of soothing bubbles before jumping in!

*Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate

*productsample Weleda's Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate (30ml - £38.95)* first appeared on the blog when I shopped my stash.

The Evening Primrose range is designed for mature skin types - "hormone changes can cause skin to become thinner, impairing its barrier function and reducing it's resistance. Its ability to hold moisture diminishes and it tends to be drier. Elasticity and resilience decrease, as does the supply of nutrients. During this phase, the specially developed Evening Primrose Facial Care and Body Care range is here to help you".

The concentrate will firm, revitalise and add much needed moisture to the skin. Formulated with 100% natural ingredients and a light herbal scent. I've found it absorbs almost instantly leaving the skin feeling comfortable, cared for and glowy.

To use: apply a small amount to cleansed skin and pat gently until it's absorbed. Use alone or add day/night cream on top.

What's your favourite Weleda products?

Zing Organics: Beautific Calm Facial Serum

I received Zing Organic's Beautific Calm Facial Serum (£30 - 15ml) in my April Monthly Hamper Club Subscription Box entitled "Step into Spring".

Formulated with German (Blue) Chamomile and Green Mandarin Essential Oils which gives it a herbal/zesty/fruity kind of scent. It's perfect for sensitive skins which are prone to redness, dryness and allergic reactions.

The serum can be used AM and PM using only 2-3 drops per application (15mls should last 2 months, used twice a day).

To use: rub a couple of drops between palms, inhale deeply and then press onto the face, neck and around the eyes.

It's a beautiful product and I can highly recommend it and the rest of the Skincare products in the range.

Ingredients: Organic Apricot Kernel Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Olive Squalane, Eco Marine Algae Active Collagen Boosting Extract of Sustainably Harvested Cylindrotheca Fusiformis of Italy, Pure Essential Oils of Blue Chamomile and Organic Green Mandarin.

* Mål Paper: Daily Goal Setter

*productsample I was recently gifted Mål Paper Daily Goal Setter Planner (£20.95) which is a gorgeous, good quality planner which helps you be grateful for what you have and to set achievable goals.

The planner will last for 6 months and helps to set goals and in turn make you happier and more productive (I'm looking forward to putting pen to paper and hopefully realising some of mine - both short and long term!)

I think it's very clever to have two ribbon dividers - as one just sometimes isn't enough! With daily, weekly and monthly views along with longer term goal setting and space to write what you are grateful for.

I'll share my thoughts and some of my goals very soon. Find out more about the daily goal setter and pick up your own copy HERE.

*Love Lula: Kure Bazaar Ginger Lip & Nail Balm

*sent to me free of charge as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program for honest review.

You just know a Kure Bazaar box is going to hold something special! Inside is one of their new Lip & Nail Balms (£28 - 15ml). From the two scents (rose is the other one) I selected Ginger which is a spicy treat.

Nestled inside the box is a branded pot of their new Lip & Nail Balm.

The nourishing balm has a distinct ginger scent which is sweet and spicy. It'll hydrate and protect lips, nails and cuticles (I do love a multi-use product).

The balm is 100% natural and made with Organic Shea & Cocoa Butters, Vitamin E, Candelila Wax, Beeswax and Squalene which is infused with Ginger Root extract.

To use: apply to lips using your fingertips or massage generously into the nails and cuticles as often as needed (it's especially good used as an intensive treat overnight).

I know I'll get hours of pleasure using this little pot of joy! What are your favourite items from the brand?

*001 Skincare: Alpha-Paradise Cleansing Dew

*productsample/affiliate links As you know every 001 Skincare product I try I love. Their Alpha-Paradise Cleansing Dew (currently on offer at £32 for 100ml) is an absolute delight!

Founder & CEO, Ada Ooi says "I wanted to create a Grand Opening to start any daily skincare ritual. This heady cleansing oil tantalises your senses, perform tip-top deep cleanse task without stripping your natural water-oil balance".

The Alpha-Rich Cleansing Dew is 100% natural, antioxidant and omega-rich and a real treat for the skin and senses (Jasmine, Neroli & Ylang Ylang, here's looking at you!) In fact, it's one of the most luxurious cleansing products I've ever used (and a pure joy to use). It has a rich yet lightweight feel and makes cleansing into a real ritual to be enjoyed.

Fatty acid rich Jojoba, Apricot Kernel and Sweet Almond oils nourish and cleanse leaving the skin feeling hydrated, yet clean, smooth and radiant. It makes short work of make up, including waterproof mascara and daily grime.

*Inner Senses: Vibrant Earth Revitalising Detox Mask+Greenhouse 5ml Try-Me

*productsample I've had the real pleasure of trying one of the latest launches at Inner Senses in the form of a sample of their Vibrant Earth Revitalising Detox Mask which comes in powder form which you mix with water or hydrosol to form a paste before applying to the skin. Leave to work it's magic before removing. (full size costs £55 for 150g/20 applications).

The detox mask is 100% natural active clay based which will balance, exfoliate and deeply cleanse the skin leaving it clean, refreshed and bright. Formulated with finest Canadian glacial marine and and Moroccan Rahassoul mineral clays to deeply cleanse along with Cacao, Spirulina, Hibiscus Flowers, Baobab Fruit, Grape Skin, Activated Charcoal, Green Tea, Moringa Leaf and Rosehip Fruit.

I've found it works best on my oily t-zone and I tend to mix it to a smooth and light paste before applying it. It's suggested to spritzing with water if the mask feels like its drying out before removing after 10-15 minutes or so. Inner Senses suggest adding a little water before removing the mask, gently scrubbing in small circular motions to exfoliate the skin.

It really is a fabulous product stuffed full of wonderful skin loving ingredients which will repair, brighten, revive, protect, balance, rejuvenate, renew, heal and nourish.

I've also been loving little Greenhouse (5ml - £3.50) which is the perfect introduction to the cleanser - Greenhouse Tomato & Carrot Seed Renewing Oil Cleanser (which I bought & which was sent to me along with the mask). It's a real delight for the skin and senses (it just smells like you've stepped into your grandpa's greenhouse!) It'll make short work of make up and daily grime leaving the skin feeling refreshed and clean. I love this!
