Alteya Organics Certified Organic Hair Treatment Bulgarian Rose

I picked up this super luxe hair treatment a while ago from Love Lula (£27.60 for 50ml). It is expensive but it is really cost effective as you only need the tiniest amount.

Alteya Organics are an award winning USDA Organic Family Owned Skincare company who own an Organic Rose farm which practices strict biodynamic farming and is based in the heart of the Rose Valley in Bulgaria.  The products are EU certified organic and are 100% natural. There are no parabens, petrochemicals, GMO, no animal testing and are lanolin free.

Products are made in small batches using natural and organic ingredients. Alteya Organics provide employment and support to the local population in some of the poorest villages in the Rose Valley and the Balkan mountain region.

The treatment is perfect for dry, damaged and colour treated hair. It's a super rich butter  which revitalises and nourishes the hair while adding incredible shine and body.

To use:

Daily - part hair into segments and apply a small amount to scalp and hair. Massage before washing and styling as normal.

Pre-Shampoo Treatment: massage a generous amount into scalp and hair. Comb through  and leave on for 15-20 minutes before shampooing.

Deep Conditioner: Apply as an overnight treatment and shampoo in the morning.

Extra Deep Conditioning: massage into hair and scalp, cover with a shower cap and add heat from a blow dryer for 10-15 minutes before shampooing.

Shine Frizz Control: add a small amount to palms and worth through dry hair.

My thoughts? A super rich, deeply nourishing and lush butter (made with Organic Rose Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Sweet Almond, Rosehip and Peppermint Oils along with Vitamin E).  I've found it works best for my hair using as an overnight deep conditioning treatment or for frizz control.  The scent is rose with a touch of peppermint.

I'd definitely like to try more from the brand. Have you used this or any other product in the range?

  2. Ooh this sounds fab. I'm using Michael Van Clarke's 3 Inches More as an overnighter. That one is lovely but I do realky like the sound of this one you review here. I'm bookmarking your page as I want to buy this after my current bottle has run out. Tx
