Eden Organic Care Avocado Oil

Eden Organic Care sent me their Avocado Oil* to review. It is 100% Pure & 100% Certified Organic as well as being COSMOS certified.  You can buy it from Amazon - see here (£14.99 for 100ml & £10.99 for 50ml).  Packaged in a pump bottle which makes it easy to get just the amount you need.

And...it's bright green! Suitable for using on your face, hair, hands, nails and body - you know I adore a multi-purpose product - and it actually smells of avocados! It also has a slightly nutty scent although the scent disappears after a few minutes on the skin.

Cold pressed from avocados it has regenerative & moisturising properties. Packed full of antioxidants, Vitamin A, B1, B2, D, E, protein, lecithin and fatty acids.

Skin: suitable for dry, mature, eczema, psorasis, dehydrated and sun damaged skin - the oil regenerates, reduces age spots, scars, lines & wrinkles.  Put a few drops in the palm of your hand and massage onto the face and neck.

Body: can be used for massage or as a body oil. Also great for hands and cuticles.

Hair: can be used as a treatment for dry and damaged hair. It strengthens, adds shine and can improve split ends.  I've also been using it on static bits of hair after blow drying.

I'm simply loving using it and have found I've used it most either on my hands as an intensive treatment after gardening, as a hair treatment - leaving it in my hair for 10-15 minutes or overnight before washing out and after blow drying my hair to smooth and add shine.

  3. Love that you can get multiple uses out of this product, making it well worth the price! Sounds like it would be a great moisturiser for putting on quickly in the mornings or last thing at night!

  5. I would use this in a blend, rather than on its own. But it looks and sounds great Sandra. I haven't heard of this brand until now.

  7. see my problem with all these oils, and i'm sure it's not just me, that often when you suffer from acne / acne scars, you have oily skin and obviously using oils doesn't help with that. i tried so many different products, but it just didn't work ever :( so i eventually gave in and had a sublative treatment at london premier laser (link) and that really made a difference. yeah it was expensive, but i don't even wanna think about how much money i spent over the years trying to deal with my oily skin / acne scars combo :(
