Aveda Editor's Picks Box - Latest in Beauty

On Saturday my Latest in Beauty Editor's Picks Box arrived. It's fantastic such great value at £11.95 plus £2.95 P&P.

Here's what is included:

Aveda Caribbean Therapy Body Cleanser 40ml - a creamy cleanser made with fruit and nut oils.  With amyris, bay, vetiver and lime to rejuvenate.  I've tried this before and loved it.

Aveda Caribbean Therapy Body Scrub 60g - contains salt, Caribbean cane sugar, coconut, avocado and passionfruit oils.  Apply onto wet or dry skin.  One I can't wait to try!

Aveda Sun Care Hair & Body Cleanser 50ml - a colour safe formula which removes chlorine, salt and product build up.  Smells great as it contains neroli and ylang-ylang oils.  One I'm putting away for next year's hols.

Aveda Smoothing Body Polish 40ml - with ground walnut shells, kelp, aloe and lavender. Spa like scent.  Used this before really effective product and nice to use.  Looking forward to trying it again.

Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Shampoo 50ml - helps repair damaged hair and great for colour treated hair.  Helps to strengthen the hair from the inside out.  I have highlighted hair which can get quite dry/damaged so looking forward to trying the whole Damage Remedy range.

Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner 40ml - as above, looking forward to trying this.

Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Treatment 40ml - A weekly treat to restore damaged hair.

Aveda Damage Repair Daily Hair Repair 10ml - protects from heat styling.

Such a great box, I'm so looking forward to trying everything.  Did you get this box?  What are your thoughts?

  1. I got the mum-to-be box and I love everything in it! A few bits will be saved for after I have the baby next month, but it's my first experience of Latest in Beauty and I'm very pleased!

  7. All I would say with that scrub is that you need to keep mixing it around as the oils rise to the top. If you don't you'll end up with hard little lumpy bits!

    1. There's not a lot of oil in this little sample but guess it would be a problem in the full size - thanks x

  8. I got the Smooth infusion box. I should have probably got the Damage remedy one (as well lol) but I'd already tried the Smooth infusion one in the She said beauty box and knew it made my hair the softest and smoothest it's ever felt, so I needed some more, and that seemed like the perfect excuse to try it again without splashing out too much incase it was a fluke and didn't work again. I'm happy to say it still works :D I ended up buying two when they tempted me again with the free P&P :/ The devils! ;) Threw in a Percy n Reed dry conditioner and Nails inc Porchester just for lols as well :D Yeah that's right, I showed them they can't tempt me with their free P&P haha! x

    2. I wish I'd known I was going to end up getting two as I would have got one of each. I might have still been able to as well if I'd emailed them to see if they had any Damage remedy left, but I'm happy with the two I got so not too bothered. I love the scrub as well. I used it with my exfoiliating mitts and my legs and arms felt really nice afterwards. Shame it's all so expensive :( Also a shame I have about a million other shampoos I need to use up before I start buying new ones haha ;) I really should go on a spending ban now :/ x

    3. me too re the spending ban! Thinking of doing a 100 day spending ban starting in January - always got no money then anyhow! x

    4. I opted for the mystery sample in my LIB sample box and they sent me the Aveda Damage remedy conditioner 10ml lol it's almost like they knew I wanted to try it :P My spending bans not going well either, I've spent loads since I last commented, and just ordered the latest editors picks box as well ha. Cos I really need some more stuff ;) Don't suppose you've had an email to do the Beauty bible testing again lately have you? I've seen a few people mention they're waiting for stuff to arrive. I've not heard anything though, so thinking I wont get picked for this one.

  10. I've just been to their website and purchased a few things, but unfortunately I can't see this box of goodies. I'm a new customer there, is this a special deal for long standing customers? It looks wonderful. Claire x

    1. This box was available a couple of weeks ago - I think they tend to sell out pretty quickly. They have a Caudalie box out this Wednesday, probably be live round about 10am. x
