Here are some of the things I've been buying lately:
I couldn't resist the new John Master's Organics Body Scrub from Naturisimo. It's one of the best scrubby body scrubs I've used but....I'm disappointed with the scent. To me it smells nothing of raspberry and orange. If you pick it up choose the one I picked for my friend Lemon & Lime (as she has assured me it smells lovely and zesty). I think the one I chose comes under the heading of a disappointing product.
I signed myself back up to LJ's Natural Solutions Beauty Box. See my post about it here.
Bloom Remedies have an amazing offer on right now. You can buy a maximum of 2 of their 30ml trial size moisturisers for a fiver each including P&P! See the selection here. These are great sizes to see if they suit your skin - I chose Daily Detox Organic Skincare Moisturiser which is suitable for problem, oily and combination skin types and Daily Revive Organic Skincare Moisturiser for dry and mature skin types. Full reviews to follow!
And yes...the blogger made me buy it! I read Hephzibah's amazing review of Lippy Girl's Rosie Posie Vegan Lipstick and I knew I had to have it! See her review HERE - as you will see it's a gorgeous shade and is also highly pigmented and feels lovely on the lips. The colour lasts and lasts too! I also picked up a couple of samples too.
What have you been buying lately?
Lucky girl! always picking up some great products! Shame about the scent from the JMO scrubs though! x
ReplyDeleteThanks! It is as the scrub is fab! x
DeleteI had been eyeing the scrubs so thank you for the heads up on the scent, lot's of nice goodies :) Xx
ReplyDeletePretty sure you'd love it Ana in a different scent! x
DeleteRecently I bought the trial kit from LJ's Natural Solutions after I found out about them on your blog, thanks Sandra! I think their products are great. Now I am looking at those moisturisers from Bloom Remedies and thinking whether I should give one a try... I am tempted getting the one for problematic skin, but not sure whether it's quite light and suitable for summer? The one from LJ's Natural Solution is light but rich, maybe more suitable for winter and night time. Have you tried the one from Bloom Remedies yet and would you be able to tell me how they compare?
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Petra
I've not had a chance to try them with being away a few days. Soon as I do I'll send you a tweet to let you know x
DeleteThat would be great, thanks!

DeleteI was intrigued by the JM scrubs, I wasnt expecting it to be pink! Shame about the scent - I'm going to the Natural/Organic Products expo on Sunday and they're exhibiting so hopefully I'll get to smell them, the lemon & lime sounds more up my street :)

The scrub is lush I just don't like/detect much of a scent! x
DeleteWow, the John Masters scrub sounds heavenly; just a shame it doesn't deliver on the expected scent! Bloom Remedies are high on my to-try list, and I think they seem really affordable, compared to some natural brands. I've been on a bit of a spending spree this month - a bit worrying that we're only half way through, plus there's a London trip on the horizon! xxx

DeleteAh, thanks for the heads-up, hope I can check it out! :) xxx
