Mill Cottage Soap

Jo at Mill Cottage Soap sent me three soap samples* to try.  They are gorgeous.  The Lemongrass, Oats & Honey soap is packed with uplifting lemongrass, scrubby oats and moisturising honey - its almost good enough to eat!  A 25g guest soap (for size see the lavender one I was sent) is £1.20.  A 50g guest soap costs £2.25 and a 100g bar at £3.95.  I'll definitely be picking up some of the smaller ones as little gifts.

Geranium & Marigold soap is scented with geranium and marigold petals.  Geranium is one of my favourite essential oils.  A gorgeous soap and so pretty with the yellow and orange marigold petals.

My final soap is Lavender, a mini hand wrapped soap.  I'll be using this when I need to de-stress after a hard day.

Mill Cottage Soap is based at Jo's cottage in the heart of Mid-Wales.  They make soaps and bath bombs.

The traditional cold process method is used for making the soaps.  Olive, Sunflower and Coconut Oils along with Essential Oils and botanicals are used.  The soaps made completely by hand - measured, whisked, poured into moulds and when set cut into bars and then 'cured' for up to six weeks.  Bars are then individual wrapped and decorated.

The products contain no chemical additives, colours or preservatives and will keep for up to a year.  Packaging is recycled, recyclable, biodegradable and ecologically produced.

Soaps can be produced for Wedding favours, B&B's, Guest Houses and for Corporate Gifts.

You can follow Mill Cottage Soap on Twitter at @Millcottagesoap or on Facebook.  You can see the range of soaps here and bath bombs here.
