August Joliebox arrived on Friday a few hours after my amazing Selfridges Beauty Box had arrived so I was initially a bit jaded with the box. On second inspection on Saturday I realised it's actually a good box!
Here is what is included:-
Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Dry Clean Revitalising Dry Shampoo 75ml which is a full size and retails at £2.99. I've just recently become a dry shampoo fan so looking forward to trying this out.
So Susan Cosmetics Wide Awake Face Palette which retails at £15. Contains Illuminating Cream, Highlighting Cream and Eyebrow sculptor, a brow brush and tweezers. A nice little set.
So Susan Lip Cushion a sheer pinky lip gloss in Crush worth £6 which came in a cute pale pink box.
Dr Bronner's Magic Soap x 3 sachets - 18-in-1 Peppermint, Citrus Orange and Unscented. Heard about these but not tried - they sound interesting!
A Joliebox Leather Hair Styling Lace and Joliesong download (this month The Nodz - Holidays).
What are your thoughts?

Interesting - I'm still waiting for mine to arrive! I hope I get the shampoo too! X
ReplyDeleteHope it arrives soon. x
DeleteI think this box is so much better than Glossy box! the products look more high end and make Glossy box items look so cheap. I was so disappointed with Glossy box this month. If Septembers is no better i'll cancel my subscription and change to Joliebox. x
ReplyDeleteI parted company with Glossybox a while ago. The only boxes I get are Joliebox and Amarya (and Latest in Beauty!) x
DeleteMine came on Saturday (left on the doorstep in the rain, naughty Yodel man!) again another fab box from JB.
ReplyDeleteThe doorstep! You are meant to sign for the box! Agree x
DeleteI also was a bit initially dissapointed but after looking at everything and trying the so susan palette I've definitely changed my mind. Cant wait to try the magic soap sachets as well :) x
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good box on second look x
DeleteThe So Susan Cosmetics Wide Awake Face Palette looks great. What a lovely product to receive in your box. Also you can never have enough dry shampoos they are great.
ReplyDeleteI know, looking forward to trying it and the dry shampoo :) x
DeleteStill waiting for mine.. i think the joliebox products (the leather string and the toenail separator from the last box) are a bit of a joke tbh! The So Susan palette looks gorgeous though x
ReplyDelete:( hopefully it will arrive tomorrow! I know what you mean, kind of useless things. x
DeleteLove your blog! I found you on blog hop!

Thank you very much! Just away to check yours out x
DeleteLooks good, I'm getting more and more tempted by beauty boxes. What do you recommend as a first one?
ReplyDeleteLoving your blog!

I'd recommend Amarya or Joliebox. I've rarely been really disappointed with either. Amarya always send out on time. Latest in Beauty are also fab - you get to see what's in the box before you buy. Lately they've had one out a week - I think a Caudalie box is next week. Thanks very much x
