February Empties

If  a product is marked * I've kindly been gifted it for review. Here's my February empties:

*Seatree Cosmetics Sweet Orange Handcrafted Soap - which was fresh and fruity and lovely to use. See my review HERE. I've got a stash of soaps to use up but I'd buy from this brand in future.

Huge love for NorthburN I received the Mandarin & Bergamot Room Mist 30ml which came in their Gift of the Month in June last year. The set also included a reed diffuser which I fell in love with. And so, I bought their Mandarin & Bergamot Refill Diffuser Oil 100ml which I've just used up also. Will definitely buy both again.

I adore Noble Isle. Summer Rising is one of my favourite scents. I received this 75ml Bath & Shower Gel one as a Latest in Beauty pick some months ago. Already got a replacement! See my review HERE.

Desavery were one of my discoveries as a Beauty Shortlist Judge last year. I fell hard! I finished up LIT! Daily Serum 10ml* see my review HERE. Everything from this brand is on my wishlist (I'm going to treat myself to STELLAR Daily Serum after payday!). A stunning brand with scents and formulas which make your heart and skin sing!

Antipodes Kiwi Seed Gold Luminous Eye Cream 3ml is simply stunning. I got multiple uses out this sachet and full size is firmly on the wishlist (Love Lula have sachets available to buy with an order of £10+ if you're interested).

Upcircle sachets which I received in my Mint Green February Starter Kit. See my initial musings HERE. I've used their Facial Serum 1.5ml before and that's firmly on the to-buy list. Also in the pack were their Face Toner 3ml (love), Face Moisturiser 3ml (love) and Cleansing Face Balm 3ml (not for me as the tea tree scent is too strong - such a shame as it's got a lovely texture and feel on the skin). It's a great wee try me set though.

I adore ECooking's Cleansing Gel 50ml which I reviewed HERE. I've got another of these in my stash but it's one I'll buy again.

Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie's Richesse D'Or Body Oil 100ml* was an absolute delight. I'm gutted at having finished it up. See my review HERE. A truly sublime product which is good for the body and the soul. On my wishlist!

Jo Malone Lime, Basil & Mandarin Body Lotion 100ml which I received from my lovely friend Julie for my birthday one year. Who doesn't love Jo Malone scents! A classic and sublime layered with Grapefruit cologne. Heaven in a bottle - I was sad to use this up.

REN Citrus Limonum Hand Wash 300ml which is one of my favourite hand washes. It'll definitely be bought again and again. See my review HERE.

Noble Isle Tea Rose Bath & Shower Gel 75ml which is a sublimely rosey scented wash. See my review HERE. Likely will buy again at some point!

Rounding up my February empties is Zing Organics's Love you Forever Body Oil 25ml which came in my November Subscription Box. Lovely!

January Empties

Here's what I've been using this month. If a product is marked * it means I've been given it for review purposes.

*Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie Richesse D'Or Bath & Shower Crystals - I absolutely loved this aromatic treat for the bath, body and mind. See my review HERE. I'm sorry to use them up as they're just perfect for lockdown times! Definitely on the wishlist.

ZOJO The Bikini Body Formula 35g - I find this supplement helps supports my digestive system the most, although it does a whole host of things. See my review HERE. I'm sure I'll stock up again soon as it's a must-have in my stash!

*I absolutely loved Evolve's Pomegranate & Goji Aromatic Wash 250ml - it's perfect for your morning shower - uplifting and super fruity. See my review HERE. It's on my wishlist for when my stash reduces. Loved it.

Molton Brown's Frankincense & Allspice Liquid Handwash 300ml - it's only available from October each year until it sells out in the sales. See my review HERE. Unfortunately, I was unable to stock up for the year as it sold out!

I simply love Bodhi & Birch's Mint Thé Bath & Shower Therapy 200ml - it's the one I keep buying again and again - such a staple. See my review HERE. It'll be bought again soon.

*The Dr Hauschka bits are from the advent calendar - Almond Soothing Body Cream 10ml - nice enough, wouldn't buy. The two toners - Clarifying & Facial Toner (both 10ml) were really nice and effective - I'd buy both these again.

I just love Lush's Sleepy Body Lotion - it's on the wishlist - I'm likely to stock up soon! Perfect to use before bed for a restful night's sleep.

I picked up the little sample size bottle of Hand & Nail Oil Serum at Blue Labelle when we visited the shop in the summer. It was soo good to meet Pascale despite having to mask up! A beautiful aromatic product - full size is on the wishlist.

My final item this month is Zing Organic's Ah There! Body Oil 25ml which was nice to use but I prefer their Elevate Body Oil with Frankincense & Clementine so wouldn't buy this.

*Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie: Richesse D'Or

*gifted As you'll know I'm a huge Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie fan, having first tried some of their bath oils long before I started blogging. I've had the real pleasure of recently trying their luxurious Richesse D'Or range.

(See my previous posts HERE*HERE*HERE*HERE*HERE and HERE).

Their Award winning Bath & Shower Crystals (200g - £26) can be used in the bath and shower for exfoliation or as a soak. These are a real treat - the aroma is absolutely exquisite - Lavender, Orange & Sandalwood along with Himalayan salt crystals. The salt crystals naturally exfoliate and draw toxins from the skin leaving it feeling revitalised, smooth and hydrated. The aromatic scent is wonderful uplifting, soothing and calming at the same time!

To use: add a handful to a warm bath, jump in and relax, massage a small amount over the skin in the shower to exfoliate. I've also used it as a hand scrub which is a truly decadent treat!

Follow with the complementing Intense Hydration - Body, Hand & Nail Oil (100ml - £45)* which is intensely moisturising for the body as well as the hands and cuticles - I do love a multi-purpose product - especially one as luxurious as this (I've also used a small amount for fragrant flyaways). Formulated with Apricot Kernel, Rice Brand & Vitamin E oils and scented with Lavender, Orange & Sandalwood. This rich and silky oil absorbs instantly onto dry skin (I've decanted a small amount into a little bottle to use on my hands and nails before bed).

To use: gently massage onto your body, hands and nails for instant and fragrant nourishment. It's perfect to use after sport to soothe and relax.

I've found these products a real treat and they've truly brightened up lockdown days! Pick yours up HERE. What are your favourites from the range?

July Empties

Here's what I've been using up in July:

Rodial Pink Diamonds Magic Day Gel 2ml sachet - my skin loved this deliciously scented gel. So much so I rushed out and bought a 9ml travel size. It's perfect for summer as it's so light and absorbs instantly.

Neal's Yard Remedies Frankincense Intense Lift Serum 2ml - again, my skin loved this. I'd love to try full size and will maybe pick it up in autumn.

As you'll know I'm doing project 10 pan for perfumes - see my posts HERE and HERE. This Shay & Blue Dandelion Fig Perfume 30ml is my third empty in the project 10 pan. I've got another bottle of this but it's one I'll buy again and again.

As you'll probably know I'm obsessed with Beauty Pie. This is my first empty from them - their Great Skin Foundation in Fair 150 Shell 30ml. See my review HERE. This foundation lasted just under six months (I'd also been using some other ones during that period). I've now got back ups of back ups!

D'Alchemy Neck & Decolletage Wrinkle Refill 1.5ml - which was quite a small sachet for the area it's to cover. I liked it but only got one and a bit uses from the sachet so not sure (I adore the brand though!)

REN Atlantic Kelp & Microalgae Anti-Fatigue Bath Oil 10ml - nice to use, not sure I noticed much difference with reviving tiredness but would buy again.

Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie Harmonie Bath Oil 15ml - the creme de la creme of bath oils! You only need the tiniest amount for a richly scented relaxing bath. I received this one in my February Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box. It's always on the wishlist!

Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream 15ml - which was gorgeous! I'll definitely pick this up full size when my stash reduces a bit.

Clockface Beauty Cuticle & Hand Oil with Frankincense & Rose Otto 10ml - totally fell head-over-heels for this. See my review HERE. I'll definitely buy this again.

Innersenses Pure Harmony Hair Bath 59.15ml - nice to revisit this brand which can be bought at places like Naturisimo and Content Beauty.

YTTP Superfoods Cleanser which I first tried via A Beautiful World. See my review HERE. I've got another of these stashed away which I bought in Sephora.

Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper Bath & Shower Gel 30ml - nice to use, maybe not my fav MB scent so wouldn't buy.

Belenos Skin Botanique Repair Serum - loved this. See my review HERE. Would buy when my stash reduces a bit.

*Laouta Beach Body Oil Fig SPF6 100ml - loved this summer inspired low SPF which I used mainly as a body oil. See my review HERE.

*Review: Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie: Cold Season

*gifted/samples

I've been testing out products from Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie's Cold Season* range. As you'll know I'm a huge fan of the award winning brand - see previous reviews HEREHERE and HERE.

I've actually had a cold this month so these products have been an absolute godsend to me. I was sent their Protection - Saisons et VoyagesVigeur Aromatherapie Body & Chest Oil and a sample of their Cristal Clair Burning Essence.

Inside Protection - Saisons et Voyages is a duo of Vigeur Aromatherapie Bath Oil 15ml and Therapeutic Essentials Air Pur 5ml which will provide natural protection against a polluted atmosphere and seasonal colds. It's also great for travelling and providing some TLC.

The range is formulated with a heady blend of eucalyptus, pine and niaouli and both the bath oil and air pur will clear the sinuses and head while soothing the effects of a cold. Air Pur Therapeutic Essential helps to prevent or minimise colds and flu. To use: apply a drop to a tissue and inhale (it's also great to use on flights to minimise germs).  Vigeur Aromatherapie Bath Oil, an Arcier best-seller can be used when suffering a cold or flu and is the perfect travelling companion. To use: apply a couple of drops to a warm bath for a soothing and clearing soak.

Vigeur Aromatherapie Body & Chest Oil is comforting and soothing when suffering from a cold/flu or the onset of a cold. It'll help to optimise a health immune system and application to the chest and upper back will ease congestion and soothe breathing.  To use: apply as often as needed to clear and soothe.

The final item from the range I was sent was a sample of their Cristal Clair Burning Essence which can be used in a diffuser or electric fragrance burner and is formulated with cajeput, niaouli and bay. It's absolutely fantastic and helps to clear the atmosphere of bugs as well as soothing and decongesting your airwaves.

The range is a must-have if you are suffering a cold and or flu, if you feel you are about to become ill or for travelling. As ever, totally luxurious and pampering. Pick yours up HERE.

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box: February: Pure Bliss

I think February's Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box is one of my most favourites ever! It's entitled "Pure Bliss" and contains four brands including three new to me ones - that's what beauty boxes should be about discovering new treasures!

And inside is:

WOW!

Cocorosa Beauty is a totally new to me brand (and gorgeous) and inside is a mini duo worth £12 - Egyptian Neroli Cleansing Oil and Superfruit 3in1 Cleansing Powder. I'm so looking forward to testing these out and a review will follow.

From Farryn Amber we have their Rose Facial Mask 40g (£14) which is from another exciting new to me brand. I'm tempted by their mini discovery set which I'll buy after payday. See it HERE. Again, review to follow.

And yes, another new to me brand! Belenos Skincare looks truly gorgeous! Inside is their Repair Serum with Rose+Frankincense+Neroli (£9) which smells amazing! Again, a review to come.

The final item this month is award winning Harmonie Bath Oil 15ml (£18) from the fabulous Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie which I've had the pleasure of using before. It really is in the "treat" range of bath time products. Looking forward to using the bath oil to relax and unwind.

Did you pick up a box? What are your thoughts on the contents this month?

New In: Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie Harmonie Dream Drops

Launching today are the fabulous Harmonie Dream Drops* from Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie. I'm a huge fan of the brand - see my reviews (Skincare and Bodycare).

The Harmonie Dream Drops (£19 - 15ml boxed)* are the latest edition to the award winning calming blend (also available in the same scent is a bath oil, body oil, bath & shower crystals and sleep therapy gift set). The drops are best used when you need to relax and unwind. Use before bed to ensure a restful sleep.

To use: massage one or two drops onto pulse point and chest, inhaling deeply. Anxiety and tension are eased and you are left feeling perfectly relaxed.

The blend is Camomile, Petitgrain and Ylang Ylang and like every Micheline Arcier product exquisite. Camomile helps calm and relax, Petitgrain soothes and revives while Ylang Ylang soothes the cares of the day away and gives the blend and exotic edge.

It's perfect to have beside your bed, in your handbag or even desk drawer! And an ideal gift or stocking filler for a sleep deprived friend.

As with all Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie products it's been made with love and care and is the perfect companion to a good night's sleep.

Shopping my Stash #90

Here's what I've been reaching for:

Inika Micellar Cleansing Rosewater 100ml which is beautiful! Deeply scented with rosewater this micellar water gently removes daily grime and make up and I use it as a first cleanse on make up days and on its own on non-make up days.  It is quite small in size so I only use it as a treat!

Ere Perez Rich Olive Oil Lipstick in Surprise (4.5g - £17)* which is a bright pink shade (and out of my comfort zone!) The lipstick is super moisturising and the shade perfect for summer.

I picked up Walden Natural Perfume Castles in the Air in the new 15ml size. It has citrus, tropical flowers and lavender notes making it perfect for summer and holidays. It's one of my favourites from the range.

From Sister & Co I've been trying out their fab Raw Coconut Drink for Hair which I got in my Jet Set Set from Supernatural Beauty. See my initial thoughts on the set HERE. This treatment is great for dry, damaged and colour treated hair. It deeply nourishes both the scalp and hair leaving it looking and feeling great.

The final item I've been reaching for is Micheline Arcier's deeply nourishing Beaute Aromatherapie Face Cream** which is best suited to dry and mature skin types. I've been using it at night for a deeply nourishing treatment (it also smells incredible). This 6g sample pot costs £18 - see here for more info. Also see my previous reviews HERE and HERE.

What have you been reaching for lately?

Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie: Skincare

Back in January I revisited fabulous aromatherapy brand Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie and reviewed two of their body products - see HERE. I've recently been trying products from their skincare range (the items are boxed so are perfect for gifting).

Lavande Face Cleansing Oil (100ml)* which gently but deeply cleanses the skin. It has a light lavender scent and makes cleansing into a real ritual. It easily removes make up and daily grime leaving the skin fresh and renewed. This is a beautiful product which is very effective and luxurious.

To use: apply with fingertips, massaging over the skin taking care to be gentle around the eye area. Remove with a warmed muslin cloth or dampened cotton wool.

I love using rosewater on my skin and Rose Organic Floral Water 100ml* is just gorgeous! Lightly scented with roses the floral water gently tones and refreshes the skin.  It can also be used throughout the day to freshen and perk up the skin.

To use: spritz on straight from the bottle or apply with a cotton wool pad.

Next, use the face oil which is most suited to your current needs - Sensible (Sensitive)Seche (Dry/Mature) and Mixte (combination).  I've been testing Beaute (15ml)* which is suitable for normal and dry skins.

The oil (which was a Beauty Shortlist Winner - Editor's Choice this year) is scented with aromatic oils of patchouli, rose and geranium making it a real treat for the skin and senses.

To use: apply a few drops to the face and neck massaging until absorbed.

I've been so impressed with all the products I've tried. They leave my skin looking healthy, nourished and glowy. Pick this selection up HERE (choice of oil) (£65).

Revisiting: Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie

It is a real pleasure to try the beautiful award winning aromatherapy products by Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie again (I've used the bath oils previously before I blogged). The products are exquisite and an absolute delight.

Micheline Arcier trained with Marguerite Maury, an Aromatherapy pioneer and Biochemist as well as establishing a working relationship with Dr Jean Valnet who used essential oils for the treatment of medical conditions. She was an early advocate of holistic wellbeing and developed a private practice and clinic as well as formulating an exclusive range of products.

In 2012, Germaine Rich and Catherine Milne took ownership of the company. Both have a background in Aromatherapy with Germaine having been trained by Madame Arcier herself. The formulations are exactly the same so Micheline Arcier's legacy lives on.

I've been trying out two bathing products - Enchantement Aromatherapie Bath Oil (60ml - £45)* and the matching Bath & Shower Crystals (200g - £26)*.

The bath oil* is a formulation of rose, geranium & ylang ylang blended with suitable vegetable carrier oils which nourish, tone and balance both the body and the mind.  The blend is quite potent so all you need to add to your bath is one capful. Soak for 10-15 minutes inhaling the delicious aromas. The oil will calm both the mind and the body. Pat skin dry so a film of scent is left on the skin.

The Bath & Shower Crystals* are a blend of the most popular fragrances with fine Himalayan Crystals for exfoliating, showering and bathing. The crystals can be used to exfoliate the body or as a bath soak and are super luxe and a real pick-me-up.

I've also been trying their Tonique Aromatherapie Body Oil (100ml - £40) which I received in my Pure Natural Box - January Detox Edition which energises, stimulates and detoxes and is scented with Rosemary, Lavender and Sage. It's good for sluggish skin, cellulite and if you are feeling tired and run-down.

I've been so impressed with these lovely products. They are a must-have for anyone who gets stressed for a moment of calm and tranquility.

Have you used any Micheline Arcier products? If so, what are your favourite scents?
