Shopping my Stash #86

Here's what I've been reaching for lately:

My pal Julie gave me the Miller Harris Tea Tonique EdP 15ml at Christmas which is refreshing, energising and aromatic.  With top notes of bergamot, petitgrain and lemon with a heart of smokey tea and nutmeg with base notes of mate abs, birch tar and musk. It's the perfect scent coming into spring and summer.

rms beauty tinted 'un' powder sample 9g shade 2-3 I'm a huge fan of the un-tinted version so was keen to try. I bought this as a sample at Love Lula (£5). It's the perfect shade for me and I'll buy full size at some point.

Fairfield Gardens Raspberry Rose Lip Balm 4.25g* which is a delicious blend of Raspberry & Rose. See my review HERE.

The Body Deli Almond Milk Cleanser sample which I received in one of the a beautiful world sampler boxes. It nourishes while it cleans leaving the skin feeling comfortable, refreshed and moisturised.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Calming Botanical Essence 50ml** is one of the lushest skincare products I've ever used. It smells glorious and helps to calms both the skin and senses. Use AM and PM before moisturiser. You can also use it throughout the day to boost radiance or refresh make up. It can also help to calm and destress.

Fairfield Gardens: Raspberry Rose Lip Balm

Latest launch from Fairfield Gardens is the very luscious Raspberry Rose Lip Balm 4.25g (£3.98)*. See my thoughts on their Spearmint & Fennel and Rosemary & Lemon Balm Lip Balms HERE.

The balms are scented with natural aromas and pure essential oils along with organic Beeswax, plant oils and botanical extracts. 80% of ingredients are grown or manufactured in the UK, the lip balms are suitable for vegetarians, cruelty free and eco-friendly. They are made by Lillian, a small British business owner. #buylocal

Their Orange Lip Balm won the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards in 2014 for Best Lip Balm and they were commended in 2014 in the FreeFrom Skincare Awards.

Raspberry Rose Lip Balm* is sweetly fruity with a hint of floral and is a lovely combination. Raspberry seed oil is high in antioxidant Vitamin A & E and packed full of Essential Fatty Acids which nourish, hydrate and care for the lips.

Also available is Lip Balm Trio Gift Set (3 x 4.25g) - £10.49 which contains Orange, Rosemary & Lemon Balm and Spearmint & Fennel. This would make a great small gift or stocking filler. See more details HERE.

Remember you can get 15% off until the end of the month in Love Lula's Black Friday Sale with code FRIDAY.

Fairfield Gardens Lip Balms

Alongside cleansers I think lip balms are my favourite beauty products! The ones from Fairfield Gardens are lovely. I feel there is always room in my stash for another lip balm!

I received one of their Spearmint & Fennel ones in a beauty box and Rosemary & Lemon Balm lip balm in the recent Love Lula GWP.

These award winning balms are handmade in Wales by Lillian and she tries to source almost all of the ingredients in the UK.  The lip balms are Vegetarian and Cruelty Free as well as being free from mineral oils, paraffin, petroleum, synthetic fragrances and flavours, artificial colours and preservatives. Rosemary extract is used to preserve the balms.

They are great value at £3.89 (4.25g) and come in a range of interesting flavours.

Spearmint & Fennel is refreshing and soothing with a minty/aniseed taste. It leave the lips super nourished.  Rosemary & Lemon Balm restores and protects chapped and dry lips.  They both contain Rapeseed Oil, Organic Beeswax, Oat Kernel Oil and Rosemary extract and essential oils.

Have you tried these lip balms?  What's your favourite lip balm flavour?

Souk Souk December Beauty Box

My Souk Souk Beauty Box arrived on Thursday and I was happy to see contained two brands I've not tried before....but a bit disappointed to see a product which I've had in zillions of beauty boxes - the INIKA Black Eyeliner....

So onto the contents:

I was pleased to see two products from The Naked Skincare Company which look fantastic.  Evening Relaxing Body Oil 30ml sample size - this is lovely! It is made with Sweet Almond and Apricot Kernel Oil along with Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood Essential Oils. I'm looking forward to trying this and Hydrating Skin Balm 30ml which is scented with Orange and Frankincense and is great for dry skin areas as well as calming and soothing.

Another brand I've heard of but not tried before is Fairfield Gardens Lip Balm (£3.89). This is in Spearmint & Fennel and is refreshing and soothing. I love lip balms and can never have too many.  This is a welcome addition to the box.

I'm a huge fan of Pure Thoughts already and love their soaps. I'm looking forward to trying this Winter Wonderland mini soap. It contains Cedarwood and Pine Essential Oils giving it a festive woodland scent.

The final item in the box is that dreaded INIKA Eyeliner which is worth £10.75. All in all I am pleased with my December box but have decided to stop my subscription for now. (#nobuyjanuary is looming!)

Did you get this month's box?  What are your thoughts on the contents?
