December Empties

I seem to have got through quite a few empties this month although quite a lot of them are sample sizes.

Hairy Jayne Deep Cleansing Shampoo 30ml and Hairy Jayne Cream Conditioner 30ml - I've loved all the Hairy Jayne products I've tried and I'll definitely buy full size soon.  See my review here.

Freyaluna Bergamot Lip, Face and Body Balm sample and Freyaluna Skin Support Facial Toner sample - I loved the toner and would buy again. I wasn't quite so keen on the balm.

Kris D'Amour Soothing/Skin Repair Treatment Butter samples - I wasn't keen on the scent of these ones although they deeply moisturised the skin.  I do love the Rejuvenating Treatment Butter though.

bodhi Mint Thé Bath & Shower Therapy 250ml - my favourite bodhi shower gel. It featured in my Top 10 products of 2013 - see here. I'll be buying another bottle over the Christmas holidays.

Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator SPF8 30ml - a lovely face cream and one I'd buy. I got this one free with a newspaper offer.

REN VitaMineral Active 7 Eye Gel 3ml - this was quite nice to use, cooling around the eye area but as it's a small sample hard to tell if it helped with fine lines and dark circles.

Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Body Creme 175ml - this was a present from hubby. Loved it, sheer luxury.

Korres Guava Little Shower Gel 50ml - my favourite Korres shower gel. Sure to buy again.

Mama Mio O-Mega Super Rich Body Cream 50ml - this was lovely to use and super moisturised the skin. Loved it.

Mama Mio O-Mega Body Buff 50ml - nice to use but I prefer a scrubbier body scrub.

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm 5ml - loved this and have another mini still to use.

Naturally Nourished Exotic Body Balm 90g - simply love this exotic scented body balm. Sure to pick it up again.  See my review here. 

Noble Isle Willow Song Bath & Shower Gel 50ml - love Noble Isle products sure to pick this up again at some point - I noticed Latest in Beauty have this as a Luxury sample.

Neom Sensuous Organic Body Wash 50ml - this was lovely to use and would happily re-purchase.

ila Rose Bliss Face Oil 10ml* - simply one of the best face oils out there. Sure to buy at some point.  See my review here.

Pinks Boutique Rose Crystal Bath Soak sample, Rosehip Face & Body Scrub sample and Rose Face & Body Balm sample - these were lovely to use and very luxurious. Would buy full sizes in a heartbeat.

Naturally Nourished Lemongrass & Papaya Cleanser sample and Frankincense Hand Cream sample - these were lovely and I'd buy them again.

inner-soul organics Circulation Boost Skin Oil 30ml - this came in December's Souk Souk. Loved it.

FoM Body Contouring Body Serum sample - this was lightly scented with lemon and nice to use but a small sample.

Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil 7.5ml - this came in my Advent calendar. Loved it. Would buy.

REN Frankincense Revitalising Night Cream 5ml - lovely to use. Would consider purchasing full size.

Empties - my re-purchases

I've got a notebook I use to write down my empties - looking back over the last year and some 300 odd empties (yes, really!) these are the ones I've bought again and again. I don't have photos of all of them as some I don't have in my stash at this point in time but I'll definitely buy them again.

Pure Thoughts Tangerine & Jojoba Whipped Shea Butter 45g - this is my third or fourth pot and I'll definitely keep re-purchasing. A Pure Thoughts best seller.  It now comes in a metal tin and in a bigger size.

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist - I don't currently have this in my stash but I will repurchase.  See my review here.

John Masters Organics Honey & Hibiscus Hair Reconstructor 10ml sachet - I pick these up with Love Lula orders.  Leaves the hair shiny, smooth and in great condition.

Dr Bronner's 18-in-1 Pure Castile Soap in Peppermint - my favourite Dr Bronner's scent.  I use to to clean my make up brushes and the bath.  See here.

Gielly Green Repair Shampoo 50ml - another one I don't currently have but love it.  See my review here.

bodhi Desert Rose Rejuvenating Face Oil - simply love this face oil. See my review here.

Suti Fabulous Foot Balm - leaves the feet moisturised, soft and sweet smelling. See my review here.

Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator - one of my favourite gentle facial exfoliators. Smells great too.

Pure Fiji Coconut Nourishing Exotic Oil - don't currently have this in my stash but love it.  Will definitely buy again soon.  It came in April's Joliebox.

Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax Bath & Shower Oil - my favourite Aromatherapy Associates Bath Oil.  This is the one which gives me a great night's sleep.

Korres Mango & Guava Shower Gels - both of these are my favourites. I've currently got the Guava one.  See my review of the Guava scent here.

London Oil Company Morning Glory Body Oil - again another one I don't currently have in my stash. Love this uplifting oil.  Sure to purchase again soon. See my review here.

Madara Refreshing Soap 250ml - this came in an Amarya Box. Love it. Helps to make me more wide-awake in the morning.  See my review here.

bodhi Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil - I love using this light aromatic oil in the summer months. 

Lancome Nutrix Royal Mains Hand Cream 100ml - another favourite. This one is beside my bed. It deeply moisturises and smells nice.

Balance Me Skin Bright Hydrating Mist 60ml - this is my second bottle of this face mist.  One of my top products of this year.

Lucy Annabella Organics Argan & Bergamot Organic Treatment Oil - a 10ml size came in my August Amarya box. Simply loved this and bought the full size with the generous beauty box discount.  A full review to follow.

Therapie Boost Hair & Body Wash 250ml - simply love this invigorating body wash.  Great to use in the morning to wake you up! Smells beautiful. Gorgeous to use as a shampoo too.  See my review here.

Mama Mio OMega Super-Rich Body Cream 50ml - I got this recently in a WIMH gift set.  It is gorgeous! Packed full of moisturising shea butter and aloe vera as well as loads of oils.  It leaves the skin super soft and hydrated.  I'll definitely be picking this up full size.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Ultra-Moisture Body Oil 30ml - simply adore this REN scent and this body oil is gorgeous. Moisturises the skin and leaves it delicately scented with rose.

Suti Fabulous Organic Foot Balm 50ml - a rich balm which melts on contact with the skin.  I reviewed it here.

Dr Bronner's 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure Castile Soap 59ml - this is my favourite Dr Bronner's scent.  I use to to clean my make up brushes, see here.  I also regularly use it to clean the bath - it makes light work of stubborn stains but I draw a line at cleaning my teeth with it!  

Pure Thoughts Strawberry & Pink Clay Natural Face Mask 30g - this is lovely you mix it in a bowl with some water before applying to the skin.  See my initial post about it here.   You can read more about it here.

What's in My Handbag: Mama Mio Body Trio & Bathtime Best

I recently received a 15% off code from What's in my Handbag and I bought the Mama Mio Body Trio (I first wanted to try this when I'd just started my 100 day spending ban).  It costs £10 but is worth over £22 and contains:

Mama Mio O Mega Super Rich Body Cream (50ml), Mama Mio O Mega Body Buff (50ml) and Mama Mio Skin Tight Toning Serum (30ml).  They all smell gorgeous so I'm looking forward to trying them out.  I simply adore Mama Mio Mighty Moisture - so I'm hoping these match up.

My second purchase was Bathtime Best (also £10):

This mini set contains the wonderful Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts 100g (worth £8.50 alone).  These salts are great for unwinding after a long and stressful day and after using them I've had the best night's sleep ever! This little pack is enough for 2-3 baths - they'll be going in my holiday bag!

Green & Spring Relaxing Shower & Bath Foam 50ml - this smells gorgeous! I've not used anything from this brand before.  Also in the set are two Korres minis - Guava Shower Gel 50ml (one of my favourite scents) and Basil Lemon Shower Gel 50ml.

April Empties

Here are my April Empties -

Murad Body Firming Cream 100ml - this came in February's Beautylishious Box.  Lovely to use with an orange scent.  Didn't really notice any firming action though.  Probably won't buy as it is an expensive product to buy full size.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil 30ml - simply adore this bath oil.  Sure to pick it up again...soon.

The London Oil Company Morning Glory Body Oil 100ml - a really beautiful body oil.  I liked using it in the morning to wake my skin up.  See my review here. I've just ordered another bottle.

Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Eye Treatment 5ml - quite enjoyed using this but didn't really notice any difference around the eye area.  Wouldn't buy.

Mama Mio Clean Slate Aloe Rich Foaming Cleanser 30ml - this was really lovely to use and scented with lavender.  Would perhaps purchase when I've used up cleansers I've got in my stash.

Pure Thoughts Tangerine & Jojoba Whipped Shea Butter 45g - absolutely love this scented butter.  Think this is my second or third pot.  Have re-purchased.

Korres Fig Little Shower Gel 50ml - love the Mango & Guava shower gels.  Didn't like this one quite so much so probably wouldn't buy again (having just read the back of the bottles these shower gels contain SLS which is a surprise for a "natural" brand).

Sisleya Global Anti-Age Cream 5ml - my final one from my stash.  Adore this cream but would never buy it full size as its so expensive.  Gorgeous though.

L'Occitane A L'Eau Florale D'Immortelle Essential Water 200ml - a really nice toner would perhaps buy again but like my cleansers got a few to use up.

Botanicals Indulgence Body Oil* - this is gorgeous and I'll definitely purchase it at some point.  See my review here.

Murad Rejuvenating Lift for Neck 3.7ml tube - this seemed quite nice unsure if I'd buy.

Natural Wisdom Rose & Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydrating Toner 50ml - a gorgeous toner.  See my review here. I'll definitely buy this again when I use up products from my stash.

Oh! Organics Rose Toner 50ml* - this was a lovely toner.  See my review here.

Myroo Starflower & Orange Blossom Cleanser 26g - gorgeous! See my review here.  This was a fab cleansing oil and I'd re-purchase when I've used up some of the others in my stash.

Korres Little Shower Gel - Basil Lemon 50ml - This was fresh and zesty and nice to use in my morning shower.  I've got another one to use.

Lola's Apothecary Rose & Geranium Bath Oil mini bottle - this little tester came in the recent Beautylishious bag.  A lovely bath oil - I'll maybe pick up full size at some point.

Gielly Green Repair Mask 50ml - a huge fan of Gielly Green products.  Love this hair mask and will purchase again at some point.

Bloom Remedies Nourishing Body Oil 50ml - loved this! My dry winter skin just loved it.  Will definitely buy again.  See my review here.

Tara Smith Feed the Root Shampoo 50ml - picked this up recently in my M&S haul.  Loved its minty scent and the fact that its free from.  Will pick up full size at some point.

Tara Smith Feed the Rood Conditioner 50ml - as above, great product will buy full size at some point.

Taaj Ayurveda Creme Mains Delhicates Hand Cream 30ml - was quite a nice hand cream but I don't think I'd buy as there are others I prefer.

Essential Care Gentle Herb Conditioner 30ml - this is the first Essential Care product I didn't like! Eeek!  There is no lather so I ended up using more to compensate.  I didn't even finish the tube as I just didn't get on with it.

Botanicals Deep Peace Body Oil* - this was gorgeous and I'll definitely pick up full size at some point.  With lavender, rose geranium, orange and sandalwood.

Anita Grant Organic Vanilla Cocoa Body Butter 15g - simply love this delicious scented butter which melts into the skin.  See my review here.

Niki's Organic Lavender & Chamomile Balm 10ml - a simply gorgeous and relaxing balm.  See my review here.

Saaf Completion Boosting Serum/Saaf Ultimate Moisture Face Serum* - these were really nice to use and a review is to follow.

Tammy Fender Bulgarian Lavender Body Oil 5ml - this came in the Cult Beauty freebie.  Seemed a nice oil but I didn't like the lavender scent. 

Korres Guava Little Shower Gel 50ml - my favourite Korres shower gel. Love it's sweet and fruity scent.

Neom Real Luxury Bath & Shower Oil 5ml - love bath oils and this was lovely to use.

Mossgrove Pure Deodorant 70ml - this contains little or no parabens and petrochemicals.  Scented with Jasmine - one of my favourite deodorants.

Redken Shine Flash 02 Glistening Mist 150ml - picked this up a while back at the hairdresser. Really great for adding shine and taming frizzy bits.  Will maybe buy again.

Beauté Chinoise Yin No.1 Facial Oil sample - this was lovely.  I received it as a free sample.  See my post here.

These are the products which sit on the bath ledge beside my shower.  I also have a stash in the cupboard that I use too.

Jo Malone Red Roses soap - beautifully scented and real luxury.  Ancienne Ambiance Goddess Argan Oil soap - a shea butter soap scented with Argan Oil - it's gorgeous!  See my review here.

Seascape Revive Conditioner* which I am testing for review at the moment.  You can see my thoughts on some of the other products here.  This seems a really nice conditioner which is scented with Jersey Rosemary and Bergamot.


Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo & Conditioner - loving using these.  Received them in my Organic & Natural Box from Latest in Beauty.  Zingy and invigorating.  I use them in my morning shower.  Full review to follow.

Seascape Uplift Body Wash* - love the uplifting scent.  See my review here.

Noble Isle Summer Rising Cornish Hedgerows Bath & Shower Gel - simply love this gooseberry, orange blossom, moss and cut grass scented shower gel.  My favourite scent from the brand.  Pump bottle - would make a great gift.

Sephora Monoi Bubble Bath & Shower Gel - I got this in my swap box from Livia. You can see the contents of this here.  I prefer to use this in the shower. Smells lovely.

Bodhi Mint Thé Refreshing Bath & Shower Therapy - my favourite Bodhi shower gel.  Really zingy and makes me feel awake in the morning!

Mama Mio Clean Slate Cleanser - lovely to use scented with lavender.  I'd maybe purchase this again but only after I use up some of my cleansers.

Perricone MD Nutritive Cleanser - received this as a freebie.  A really nice cleanser.  Again I'd maybe purchase.

L'Occitane Angelica Cleansing Gel - got this free in an offer last year.  Nice to use.

February Empties

Dr Bronner's Magic Soaps Peppermint Pure Castille Soap 59ml - simply love this 18-in-1 uses soap.  I usually use it to clean my make up brushes.  You can see my post about it here.  I've also used the soap to clean the bath/floor!  I love a multi-purpose product! Smells great too.  Already have a back up of this.

Bodhi Jasmine Falls Relaxing Bath & Shower Therapy and Palmarosa Verde Purifying Bath & Shower Therapy both 50ml - already a huge fan of Jasmine Falls, see here.  Would buy both of these again.

Lush Ponche Shower Gel 100g - this was a limited edition out at Christmas time.   A fruity punch spiked with tequila.  Really loved this fruity scented shower gel.  Would pick it up again next Christmas.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash 50ml - love REN Rose Otto.  I seem to always have one of these in my stash!

Noble Isle Willow Song Bath & Shower Gel 30ml - this is quite a nice scent but I prefer Summer Rising Cornish Hedgerows scent.  So probably wouldn't buy this again.

Aromatherapy Associates Relax Deep Bath & Shower Oil 3ml* - simply love these bath oils.  A full size one of this is definitely going on my wish list - you are guaranteed a great sleep if you use this at bedtime - gorgeous!  With essential oils of vetivert, camomile and sandalwood.

Dr Hauschka Rose Body Moisturiser 10ml and Rose Body Oil 10ml - these came in my Amarya box - loved both of them and would buy.

Crabtree & Evelyn Tarocco Orange Skin Refreshing Body Lotion 50ml - simply loved this light textured moisturising body lotion.  Loved the fresh orange scent.  Will definitely buy this when the spending ban is over.

Pure Fiji Nourishing Exotic Coconut Oil - trial size - simply love this coconut scented super moisturising oil.  I picked up this mini at Gemma's blog sale. I'm sure to buy the full size again as I love this product when I received it in Joliebox.

Natural Honey Body Lotion 75ml - this came in Joliebox. Nice to use and smelt good but it is a Spanish drugstore product so will be unable to purchase here.

Doctor Duve Lifting & Firming Hand & Decollete Cream sachet - absolutely loved this! Got a couple of sachets in Joliebox - but its super expensive at £79 for 200ml.  Probably wouldn't purchase.

L'Occitane Desert Rose Hand Cream 30ml - this was a freebie with Marie Claire magazine.  Love L'Occitane hand creams shame this was a limited edition as the scent is lovely.

Caudalie Vinexpert Eye & Lip Serum 1.5ml - this is really nice and I'd consider purchasing it.

OV Naturals Rosy Glow Luxury Organic Moisturiser 15ml - simply love this rose scented moisturiser.  You can seem my review here.  Full size is on my wish list for after my spending ban.

Mama Mio Mighty Moisture Day & Night Moisturiser 15ml - I got this via a YOU magazine offer.  Simply love this moisturiser - a lovely scent, nice texture and can use it AM and PM.  Definitely one I'd buy.

Mama Mio Eye Know All in One Eye Serum 5ml - this also came with the moisturiser (and face wash). Seemed an ok eye serum but didn't WOW me like the moisturiser did.  So wouldn't purchase.

Origins GinZing Eye Cream 6ml - this came in the Origins Christmas Bauble which Mez very kindly picked up for a few of us who live outside London.  I really liked this eye cream.  It brightened up the eye area and I'd maybe purchase it.

Wei Eye Cream 2ml - this came in January's Birchbox.  Simply loved this but full size retails at £60 so I won't be buying it but it was lovely to use.

Moroccanoil Treatment Oil 10ml - I found this a bit rich for my hair.  Prefer the light version but this is still nice to use.

Paul Mitchell Color Care Color Protect Daily Conditioner 100ml - I reviewed this here.  A product I'd buy.

REDKEN Nature's Rescue Refreshing Detox Shampoo 200ml - only use this occasionally.  A great product for getting rid of product build up.  You can see my review here. I've already stocked up on this.

Rahua Shampoo 60ml - this was nice to use but quite pricey.  Not sure if I'd buy it again.

Kiehl's Amino Acid Shampoo 65ml - this was really nice and gentle on the hair and smelt of coconut.  Lovely would perhaps purchase again.

Spending Ban - Update 4

I went off the rails during week 4!  I'd had a bit of a stressful week (no excuse I know!) and ended up buying a couple of things from Sweet Cecily's - a gorgeous natural skincare company.  I spotted Sugarpuffish's review and before I knew it had placed an order!  I don't feel too bad as my order came to £26.65 including P&P and it was good to get a parcel delivered!

Here's how my week has been going -

And here are the beautiful products which made me break my spending ban...

Mojito Flavour Lip Balm (£2.95 for 10ml) - flavoured just like a Mojito cocktail with mint and lime - supermoisturising on the lips.

Rose Body Butter (£19.95 for 200ml) - a simply gorgeous rich rose scented butter packed full of shea butter, rosehip oil, rose essential oil and St John's Wort Oil.

The packaging is simply gorgeous, really pretty. Full reviews will follow.

So onto my want's list (it's actually quite small this week - I must be feeling guilty!)  

Mama Mio Mighty Moisture Day & Night Moisturiser 50ml (£37.50) - I was one of the lucky ones who managed to get a YOU tester pack of this moisturiser, an eye cream and face wash.  I totally fell in love with this moisturiser, loved its orange scent, the way it felt on my skin and the fact you could use it am/pm.  Definitely one I'll buy when I use up my stock of moisturisers.

Aromatherapy Associates Breath Essence 10ml (£15.50) - have read numerous great reviews about this essence which can be used to clear your head and for de-stressing.

Freyaluna Rose Lotion 140g (£15.95) - I adored this lotion when I received it in my Freyaluna Selection Box. (must have a rose addiction this week!)

Weleda Pomegranate Body Lotion 200ml (£19.95) - used a sample of this recently and loved the fruity scent.

Weleda Citrus Refreshing Milk Bath 200ml (£9.50) - I love soaks in the bath and it sounds refreshing.
