Natural Wellness Box - The Sleep Collection

I spotted the first and second items which were in Natural Wellness Box's Sleep Collection and couldn't resist getting a one-off box with 10% discount (first order). You can also sign up Bi-Monthly, six months pre-pay (3 boxes) or twelve months pre-pay (6 boxes). See more details HERE.

WOW!

Having been introduced to Farryn Amber last month in my Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box (REVIEW) I was keen to try more from the range. Inside is their Lunar Evening Facial Oil (huge 50ml and worth £26). It's formulated with skin loving botanical oils and scented with bergamot+lavender. It's truly lush and a review will follow.

From Nathalie Bond is their Unwind Body Oil (30ml - £10) which is a luxurious blend scented with calming Lavender & Bergamot. This is gorgeous to use before bed for a relaxing sleep (I've used this brand before so know the products are gorgeous).

I've also tried Better You's Magnesium Foot & Body Soak before. Inside is a single use sachet worth £3.99. It'll help improve sleep quality and relax the body before sleep.

The second item which made me want to buy the collection was a NEW supplement from We+People entitled Sleep Well (£26 for 120 caps). Again, excited to try and a review will be forthcoming soon!

I love Zojo Elixirs The Bikini Body Formula (REVIEW) so was excited to see a try-me pot of their new Golden Adapto Latte which is the perfect bedtime drink.

From Teapigs there are 2 x Snooze Sleepy Tea bags which contain chamomile, lavender and apple and will help to relax and calm before bed. The final item is a Superfood Bar (£2.29) by Navitas Organics (delicious - I ate it at my desk one afternoon this week).

It's a brilliant box for me this time - I love that I'll use everything in it too. I'll definitely be checking out the next box in two months time! Did you pick one up or are you a subscriber?

Love Me Beauty Box - May Edition Menu 2

I was really pleased to be sent a May edition of Love Me Beauty box* to review. I chose menu 2 from the three choices. The box costs £10 plus P&P.

And let's see what's inside..

A trial pack from Suti (RRP £6.50) which contains 4ml pots of Cleanse Balm, Purity Balm and Fabulous Foot Balm. I'm a huge fan of Suti.  You can see my review of their foot balm here.

Nail Girls Nail Polish in Nude Pink 10ml (RRP £13.50) this is pretty pink shade and will be perfect for summertime.

Raw Skincare Natural Lip Balm in Ginger 4.5g (£1.98) a super spicy moisturising lip balm which smells like ginger beer.

GO Stationery Pocket Notebook Set in Tulip Garden x 3 notebooks (RRP £5) these little notebooks are perfect for popping in your handbag to write lists and notes on the go.

The final item in the box is three tea bags from Teapigs in Rooibos Creme Caramel flavour (each teabag is worth 65p).  Rich in antioxidants this tea has a sweet and rich flavour.

I think this is a great value box and I love the contents.  Did you chose one of the boxes this month? Or are you tempted?  Sign up here.

March: Lately I've Been Loving

Two of my friends sent us beautiful bouquets after losing Bess our dog - thanks again Nardine and Julie! So kind. My mum and dad sent us some too! I've never had so many flowers.  I also received some sympathy, thinking of you cards, notes and wee gifts - thanks Jo, Magi & Derek, Susan, Ana and my sis and her family. It's nice to know people are thinking of you. We still miss Bess loads.

I ordered a Teapigs pick n' mix sample pack and I've been enjoying trying the selection I chose.

I had money left on my Amazon voucher from Christmas and treated myself to a gorgeous new bag from Mia Tui. I first read about the brand on Mumsnet Peterborough - see here. It is so roomy and I love the colour (and the hot pink lining!) I chose a Matilda Mae in Aubergine. Review to follow!

Getting the plot ready for the growing season. I've now bought all my seeds and can't wait to get growing! Up here in Scotland it takes a bit of time for the soil to warm up so I'm hoping next month I can get sowing. (My patch is the the left hand side with the herbs at the top).

I'm a huge Reese's Peanut Butter Cups fan and hubby bought me this yummy box full of treats as a surprise to cheer me up.

I was sent this new Organic Surge Anti-Ageing Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser* (£12.50 - 150ml) to review and I can quite simply say it is one of the nicest cleansers I've ever used.  It smells deeply of roses and cleanses the skin leaving it revitalised, clean, soft and smooth.  Full review to follow.

Latest in Beauty: The Hip & Healthy Beauty Discovery Box

I caved during #NoBuyJanuary and bought the Hip & Healthy Beauty Discovery box on 14th January but it didn't arrive. Boo.  My replacement box arrived on Wednesday and I love it! You can still pick up this box at £9.95 plus £3.95 P&P see here.

It's stuffed full of healthy things to eat and beauty products I love!

Hip & Healthy Magazine joined forces with Latest in Beauty to help you start the year (ok I'm a bit late to the party!) as you mean to go on.  The box of goodies is worth over £50.

Here's what's inside:

Neom Complete Bliss Moroccan Blush Rose Organic Hand Cream 50ml - my favourite hand cream...ever! See my review here.

Nourish Golden Glow Illuminating Face Shimmer 2ml - I simply love this worn on its own or mixed with foundation. It gives the skin a glow.  See my review here.

balance Me Cleanse & Smooth Face Balm 40ml - again a product I love! See my review here.

Teapigs Matcha Green Tea x 2 servings - I've tried this before and really liked it. Made me feel energised and alert.

Virgin Active One Day Pass - you can use it for a gym visit, a exercise class, a swim and sauna.

Together Health MultiVit & Mineral - the sachet contains 30 capsules and you should take one a day.

Bounce Natural Energy Ball - Coconut & Macadamia - one of the things I was excited to try. It smells gorgeous is 100% natural and is high in protein. Ate it! Yum. Picked up some more yesterday at Holland & Barrett.

Rude Health Ultimate Granola 50g - oats, spelt, barley and puffed amaranth baked with a drizzle of honey and date syrup. This will keep your hunger at bay until lunchtime.  Another one I'm keen to try.

Organic Super Blends sachet - Skin Food - it can be sprinkled on your porridge, added to your smoothie or juice or sprinkled on yoghurt for an instant shot of goodness.

Aduna Baobab sachet - contains 14 essential vitamins and minerals. It is almost 50% fibre and has one of the highest antioxidant capacities of any fruit.  Add to smoothies or mix with water.

Jax Coco - 100% Coconut Water. YUM huge fan of coconut water.

There is also a smoothie recipe and money off codes which are valid until the middle to end of February, middle to end of March.  I must say I think the box is great!

Did you get this box? What do you think of it?

Birchbox Review - January 2013

As you will probably be aware Birchbox which are based in New York recently took over Joliebox.

I received my first box yesterday.  It arrived in a bright pink box.  Inside is a brown box with pink detailing.  Also included is a Birchbox magazine.  The bag inside is bright pink too - makes a change from the Joliebox black!

And what's inside?

Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF15 2.2g - already love this super moisturising lip treat.  You can see my review here.

KMS California Add Volume Volumizing Spray 30ml - I love the quick blow dry spray from this brand and my hair always needs volume so happy to try this out.  Although the product does seem a little thick in the bottle for a spray product.

Taaj Creme Mains Delhicates Hand Cream 30ml - I love the Taaj Micellar Water so happy to try another item from the brand. A shea-enriched hand cream - which I've tried it out a couple of times and it is deeply moisturising with a light floral scent. I like it!

WEI White Lotus Moisture Rich Eye Blend 2ml - from a brand I've heard of but not tried any products.  Contains moisture-binding white lotus flower extracts wtih skin-firming peptides.  Looking forward to trying this out.

Teapigs Tummy Tonic Peppermint Leaves single use tea bag - already love and buy this tea.

I was pleased with my first Birchbox.  Did you get this box or an alternative mix? What are your thoughts?

Tea

It's really horrible weather here today so nothing I like better than a cup of tea.  I love teas from Teapigs, my favourites being peppermint or Chamomile.  I also love Aveda Comforting Tea (though I don't get this often as its £9.50 for 20 tea bags).  I also love Bellevue Tea. My favourites from this brand are - Green Tea (the best green tea I have ever tasted, its mellow and flavoursome) and Earl GreyYogi Cinnamon is big on flavour with cinnamon, cloves, ginger and cardamon.  BrewHaHa Rose Tea tastes like turkish delight.  I also picked up the wee tin of smoky tea which is smoked over cinnamon - its loose tea and not tried this one yet.

Does anyone else love tea and what are your favourites?
