Latest Buys: Origins by The Melt Pool, Skin & Tonic, Olfactory Candles, Upcircle, Raven Botanicals, Aromatherapy Associates, nknaturals, Maya Njie

Here's my latest buys (September + into October). As ever, if a product is marked * I received it complimentary.

I bought these gorgeous candles at House for an Art Lover shop in September. They're latest launches at The Melt Pool. I love the amber glass jars which are filled with plant based wax and essential oils.

I couldn't resist Skin & Tonic's new launch Slow Down Bath Soak (get 15% off with your 1st order). The mineral rich Epsom Salts are joined by natural CBD, from upcycled hemp which balances and calms. Scented with invigorating Cedarwood, Eucalyptus and Rosemary essential oils. They come in a huge 500g jar and cost £17. It's love.

I've fallen hard for Olfactory Candles Vanilla & Salted Caramel Melt Pots (£3 - 50g). So while stocking up I had to try Stargazing, a subtle dreamy scent. I was kindly gifted Spiced Embers* (a warm and woody scent) which is the perfect autumnal scent. Remember you can get 15% off your first wax order with SANDRA15.

Having loved the Glossworks Cuticle Balm* which came in September's Love Lula Beauty Box* link I decided to use the generous 20% off code which subscribers receive in their box for the brands that month and picked up the Foot Balm which is an absolute delight - rich and creamy with a touch of Lavender & Peppermint. It's one of my fav new tries this year.

New + exclusive to Naturisimo is Upcircle's Night Cream with repurposed Blueberry extract. Love this brand and couldn't resist (£18.99 - 55ml). Review to come!

I couldn't resist the new Bathing Oils from Raven Botanicals I selected a 30ml size (£20) in Bliss (Jasmine, Geranium, Neroli) which helps to promote feelings of optimism, is grounding and emotionally balancing (smells lush). The girls very kindly sent me minis* of the other two which smell equally as good - Drift (Lavender, Bergamot & Neroli), a tranquil spa like blend which eases stress, anxiety and helps the body and mind relax. The third in the range is Rise (citrus & patchouli) which relieves tension, lifts the spirits and energises. Looking forward to trying them all and reviews will come.

A stocking filler! Naturisimo have started to get Christmas gifts in. I couldn't resist Aromatherapy Associates Mini Moment Forest Therapy Bath & Shower Oil 9ml (£12) which is presented in a "tree hanging" box. Lush!

I was patiently awaiting nknaturals Autumn collection arriving and picked their Autumn Nutrient Rich Facial Oil 15ml (£15). Nicola kindly added the corresponding Autumn Copper Distilled Botanical Mist* to my order (50ml - £15). Isn't the colour fabulous. Gorgeous products too - review soon (I think this is one of my most fav seasons!)

As you'll know I'm already a Maya Njie fan. See my review of the Discovery Set HERE (it's gone up in price since I reviewed it in 2019). I couldn't resist latest launch Voyeur Verde 7.5ml EdP which has notes of:

Bergamot, Mandarin, Cypress, Rosewood, Fennel, Iris, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Leather, Cedarwood and Frankincense

July: Latest Buys

I've had a mad few weeks buying more than I should...

This is my second Les Fleurs EdP 7.5ml by Maya Njie Perfumes one day I'll buy full size. It's a beaut!

I had a little extra PIE in the form of one of the new shampoos & conditioners at Beauty Pie. I'm currently trying these out (so far, so good) and a review will be coming!

My gorgeous Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box landed at the weekend. This month (last monthly box before it goes bi-monthly) is entitled Bon Voyage and is stuffed full of beautiful things with holiday time flavour. See my initial thoughts HERE.

Madara's new Booster Ampoules in Antioxidant Energiser which I picked up via Love Lula's very generous beauty box discount. A review will be forthcoming!

I can never resist a Naturisimo Discovery Box and Extreme Purity is stuffed full. See my initial thoughts HERE.

The Organic Pharmacy Tan Accelerator which gives an instant glow and helps to develop a rich deep tan stimulating melanin production naturally. I'm packing this one in my suitcase!

A couple of minis from Bodhi & Birch it'd been a while since I'd tried beautiful Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil (it's still love). Founder, Elijah Choo recently gifted me one of their beautiful Alchemy Bowls* and so I bought Renshen Root Exfoliant & Mask (12ml) in order to have a little play.. (review to come).

I also picked up Ezape Naturals latest launch their Ylang Ylang & Lavender Body Oil (review forthcoming).

And of course, I couldn't resist Latest in Beauty's collaboration with Grazia mag. See my initial thoughts HERE.

I tried a sachet sample of Rodial's Pink Diamond Magic Gel Day and fell head-over-heels in love. I wanted to try more so picked up a mini 9ml size from Look Fantastic. A review will follow.

Feel Unique were offering 20% off Caudalie so I snapped up this SPF duo (I also had a fiver off voucher) making me glad I'd waited!

And yet more PIE! I had to have another of the latest launches at Beauty Pie. I'm seriously in love with this pot of goodness. Expect a review soon! (as a member this cost £11.59 instead of £50). Sign up using my link to get your first month of membership free HERE.

I spotted an offer on Facebook for this little try me Dry Skin Kit (£2.50 - with a code for free p&p). I thought it would be ideal to pack in my holiday bag. Pick yours up HERE.

What have you been buying this month? Do you think I should have a spending ban?

Maya Njie Perfumes Discovery Set

I first discovered Maya Njie Perfumes on British Beauty Blogger and had to rush out and buy the Discovery Set (5 x 2ml - £17). Swedish founder and formulator, Maya moved to London in her late teens and studied surface design and photography at the University of Arts in London. She found that she loved experimenting with different raw materials and taught herself perfumery. After getting lots of positive comments about the perfumes she wore she decided to set up her own niche perfume brand - Maya Njie. You can buy online or directly from Liberty.

The unisex perfumes (EdP) are created using essential oils, aroma compounds and resins making use of both natural and synthetics.  The blends mixed in small fresh batches with care and precision and the bespoke packaging incorporates colourways extracted from family photographs.

I like the concept of returning a full size empty bottle for re-filling (15% discount). You can see more information about this HERE.

I totally fell head-over-heels dizzy for the glorious Les Fleurs (50ml - £85) which is a sensational floral inspired by Minnie Ripperton's song "Les Fleurs" which graced our radio airwaves in the 1970s.

It has fresh green floral notes and is perfect for Spring and Summer and is really, really special.

"Bergamot, the fresh citrus top note, provides a green and vigorous opening. Beneath lies fruitful, bright heart notes of sweet fig, neroli and Magnolia. It is rounded off with subtle base notes of Floral Musks and Woods".

I also enjoyed Tobak, a smokey and spicy scent which has notes of Tobacco Leaf, Vetiver, Cinnamon, Tonka, Musk and Leather. It's slightly more masculine but still very wearable.  Vanilj, is a light as air vanilla scent, so sweet with a hint of cardamon, patchouli, cedar and amber - delicious!

Nordic Cedar contains fresh notes of cardamon along with patchouli, musk, cedarwood and amber while Tropica (think summer holidays) is a lush blend of pineapple, coconut, fig, citrus, ambergris and sandalwood.

There's an offer running until 23 April to get 15% off your order CELEBRATE15 to celebrate 1,000 online orders to date.

And so.... I had to pick up my absolute favourite from the collection in single pocket perfume size (7.5ml - £22). You know, I will buy this full size next time!

Have you tried Maya Njie Perfumes yet?
