*Love Lula Beauty Box: March 2021

*I receive the Love Lula Beauty Box complimentary as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger for an honest review. My March Love Lula Beauty Box landed yesterday and I think, for once, I was one of the first to receive it! It's absolutely fantastic and contains 4 full sizes and a sachet sample and is worth £43 this month (a rolling UK subscription costs £14.95 making this box great value).

The first thing to jump out at me was Sukin's Reydration Gel Cream 60ml which costs £17.95! This range is suited to dehydrated and dry skins and my dry winter skin is loving it. The gel has a lovely feel on the skin and a fresh scent, I know I'm going to enjoy this one!

I also like the look of Giovanni's Frizz Be Gone 81ml which is worth £7.99. I'm always looking for products to control the frizz so I'm looking forward to trying this out! It'll leave the hair looking smooth and silky - bring it on!

From Balmonds we have their Skin Salvation Balm 30ml worth £7.99 which I've used before. It's perfect to nourish any dry spots over the body and great for soothing eczema, dermatitis and psoriosis.

From Ayumi there is their Neem & Tea Tree Face Mask 100ml which is worth £6.99. The rich cream (which smells very pungent although fresh) will deep cleanse normal to oily skins. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

Rounding up this month's box is a 2ml sachet from Madara - their City CC SPF15 in shade light (50p). I've used this before and it's great!

As ever, there is a generous 20% off the brands in the box this month. What do you think of the contents this month's box?

*Love Lula Beauty Box: February 2021

*I receive the Love Lula Beauty Box free of charge as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program. February's Love Lula Beauty Box is worth £39 (box in the UK costs £14.95 recurring, see all the options HERE). This month there's a beautiful Bass Brush inside! Also inside is a product I've been wanting to try (squeals).

The item which first caught my eye was the BASS Brush - Bio-Flex Style & Detangle Brush (£15.99). The handle is made of corn starch with premium natural wood pins. A great and different addition to the box.

The item inside this month's box which was on my to-try list is Naturtint's Nourishing 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner Bar (75g - £12.99). This actual one had been on my wishlist! It smells of honey... mmm. A review to come.

Moving on, also inside is a duo from Sukin - Natural Balance Shampoo & Conditioner for Normal Hair - both 50ml. These are ideal try me sizes or for travel. My hair is dry and coloured so it's likely I'll be passing these on.

Rounding up the box is a Woobamboo medium toothbrush which is natural and biodegradable (£4.49) and this comes along with a mini Bubble Berry toothpaste (14g). Again, it's nice to see something different in a beauty box.

Day 12 - Sukin Purely Ageless Rejuvenating Day Cream 20ml - I found this slightly too rich for my skin and have passed it on. Great brand though!

Day 13 - Code 8 Precision Liquid Eyeliner - I've had a few of these in beauty boxes. Again, likely to pass this one along.

Love Lula Beauty Box: March 2018

March's Love Lula Beauty Box* is a cracker! Inside are lots of lovely treats. The box this month is worth £43 (UK rolling subscription costs £13.95 making it great value for money). Subscribers also get a code for 20% off any of the brands in the box (code valid until the end of the month).

WOW! It really is a good 'un!

I'm a huge fan already of Elsa's Natural Deodorant (see my review of their Dew scent HERE. This is worth £10 (45g) and I know I'm going to love it.

From GLOSSWORKS there is a super-pretty full size nail polish in Come Clay with Me (£12 - 9ml) which is a pretty pink shade. We received their Nail & Cuticle Oil in October's box and Name of the Rose nail polish & 3-in-1 base coat in August's. This shade is perfect for spring and summer (great with a tan!)

From Laidbare, a box favourite we have a full size of their Guess My Age Anti-Ageing Treatment Cream (£9.99 - 50ml) which is a new product from the brand. The cream has a light texture which melts easily into the skin and helps to "strengthen the bonds between the skin layers to create a lifted effect". Looking forward to trying this one out!

I'm always on the lookout for the perfect shampoo and conditioner and inside March's box are two haircare products by Sukin. Both are luxury travel sizes (50ml). We have Sukin Purifying Shampoo and Sukin Nourishing Conditioner. Reviews will follow!

The final item this month is FOM's Hydra Bright Night Complex which brightens and hydrates targeting age spots, hyperpigmentation and hydration.

Christmas Gift Ideas

Here are some Christmas gift ideas:

From bodhi & birch their fabulous new Limited Edition Bath & Shower Oil Collection (3 x 15ml - £30) which consists of three great scents - all very different - so you can bathe or shower depending on your mood! Inside is Rosa Verde, a renewing blend which is formulated with Rose, Lime, Geranium & Frankincense. Jasmin de Lune (and my favourite) is relaxing. It's a blend of Jasmine, High Altitude Lavender and Vertiver. The final bath & shower oil is La Botanica which revives and detoxes. It's a blend of Lemon, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Juniper Berry. Pick yours up HERE.

From Tropic Skincare I highly recommend their gorgeous Whipped Body Velvet (200ml - £28)* a deliciously fluffy and light as air body treat formulated with Madagascan rarabe butter and baobab oil which deeply nourishes the skin.  The scent is just divine with Tahitian and Bourbon vanilla extracts.

This Christmas scented candle "Christmas Comfort" by beatitude (200g - £30)* is just Christmas in a jar. It combines the original "comfort" geranium, clementine, lavender and eucalyptus with cinnamon, clove and cardamon.

Sukin have a great range of gift sets. I reviewed their Love your Skin 3 step Face Kit* (£20). See my review HERE.

I love this little beautifully boxed set of minis from Willowberry. It's a great try me set and fantastic value at £30.95. I reviewed the products recently and loved them. See HERE.

My favourite is Winter Glow Skin Hamper (£49) which contains Eco Marine Algae Facial Cleansing Masque (review) & Velveteen Facial Serum (review) along with a bamboo face cloth and a couple of wooden spatulas (and a miniature cone found on the forest floor!)

A.S APOTHECARY Frankincense, Bergamot and Cedar Oil Scented Candle in a hand thrown Ceramic Pot (£42) which sounds absolutely heavenly. I also love the hand thrown pot!

I'm a huge fan of [M] Botanicals (especially their gorgeous Rose Oud Soy Wax Candle (REVIEW) and love their candle set which contains 4 candles - Rose Oud, Warm Lemongrass, Wild Grown Mint and Sour Plum - £50).

Sukin Super greens Body Contouring Crème

As you'll know I'm a huge fan of Sukin having recently reviewed their fabulous Oil Balancing+Charcoal Purifying Gel Cleanser* (REVIEW) and their excellent Purifying Body Scrub* (REVIEW). I've been trying their latest launch Super Greens Body Contouring Crème * (£9.99 for 200ml).

The super greens blend is a mix of kale, spirulina, parsley, chlorella, acai and goji along with stevia and mate which helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite and leaves the skin looking smooth, toned and moisturised. Moringa oil and black seed extract nourish while Coenzyme Q10, coconut oil, madadamia and shea butter replenish the moisture barrier.

The crème is suitable for all skin type and is paraben and sulphate free.

To use: massage onto clean dry skin AM and PM as required.

I've been really enjoying using the contouring crème which is quickly absorbed, has a herbal type scent and feels comfortable on the skin. I can't say I've noticed an improvement in cellulite but my skin feels slightly more firmer.

Sukin: Oil Balancing + Charcoal Purifying Gel Cleanser

As you'll probably know I just love Sukin Australian Natural Skincare, having recently tried their fabulous Purifying Body Scrub* (REVIEW). I'm also currently testing their new Super Greens Body Contouring Cream* which is gorgeous and very effective (expect a review soon!)

I've been trying out their Oil Balancing+Charcoal Purifying Gel Cleanser (125ml - £9.99)* for the last few weeks. It sits beside my shower and I use it every morning.

The cleanser is packed in a pump action recyclable bottle and is easy to use. The gel cleanser is black in colour as it's enriched with bamboo charcoal which helps to purify and balance normal to oily skin types and it's free from parabens.

It's formulated Bilberry, White Tea and Pomegranate which impart antioxidants and vitamins onto the skin. Chamomile, Aloe Vera and Cucumber soothe while Moringa and Coconut extract help to keep the skin clear. Rooibos and Willowherb help to combat breakouts.

To use: wet face, apply a small pump to wet hands and lather before massaging onto the face and neck before rinsing. It leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed and clear (it can be used AM and PM but I choose it for my morning cleanse).

Have you used this cleanser? What's your favourite Sukin product?
