As you'll probably know I recently embarked on Formula Botanica Diploma in Organic Skincare (you can join up from 16-23 January (that's from next week!) (see HERE). I'm a little bit behind in my course due to illness, Christmas and the day job but raring to go! I'll keep you updated as to how my course is progressing.
On embarking on the course you will be starting your formulating journey and after completion will be able to create your own organic facial, body and spa skincare to sell to the public. You can read more about the format of the course and the modules taken HERE.
The course should take roughly 6-8 months to complete studying one day a week. Formulations are graded by a tutor and "Ask our Tutor Forum" can help with any questions. There is also a very helpful Facebook group that you can join where current and former students offer advice and help. There is a lot of resources for each student's use within the website but you will also need to do your own researches.
The course(s) have been followed by 2000+ people and has launched many careers and businesses in the industry including - BYBI (I adore their nourishing Babe Balm), LILFOX Miami (which you can buy at a beautiful world in the UK - I'm currently testing their Prickly Pear Illuminating Nectar* and Cleopatra Milk & Honey Beauty Mask*), Handmaids Cosmetic (which I know Ana of Ana Goes Green has reviewed) and Alexa Sky Botanicals to name a few.
