*Love Lula Beauty Box: September 2020

*I very generously receive the Love Lula Beauty Box free of charge for an honest review as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger. September's Beauty Box is worth £62! Check out the subscriptions HERE. If you sign up today, you'll receive the October box (as ever there's the generous 20% off code for subscribers for brands in the box this month which is valid until 10th October).

The first thing that caught my eye was INIKA's Mineral Mattifying Powder 3.5g (which is worth £23!). I'm vaguely sure I've tried this powder before and found it excellent to use to set make up, or to use in place of foundation. I've started going back to the office 2 days a week, so am back to putting my face on!

The Turmeric range is my favourite from Ayumi so I was pleased to see it pop up in my box (the scents inside the box are random). Inside is their Turmeric & Papaya Glycolic Acid Face Toner 150ml (£6.99) which I'm looking forward to trying. A review will follow! (it smells beautiful).

From Madara we have their Smart Anti-Pollution Charcoal & Mud Repair Mask 12.5ml (£7) which I've tried before and my skin loved. It'll purify and remove impurities and promote skin cell renewal.

Rounding up the box are two moisturisers - one for daytime and one for nighttime which are perfect for getting your skin into a routine for autumn.

From Dr Botanicals is their Hemp Infused Natural Nutrition Moisturiser 30ml (£15.99). This is a day moisturiser which protects, nourishes and hydrates the skin.

Rounding up the box is Urban Veda's Rose+Botanics Reviving Renewal Night Cream 20ml (£8) which smells incredible (rosey) and absorbs quickly onto the skin. I'm pretty sure I've used this before!

*Love Lula Beauty Box: July 2020

*sent to me free of charge as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program for review. It's always an exciting day when my Love Lula Beauty Box arrives! This month its worth over £46 and includes 2 full size products and two travel sizes. As ever there's a code for 20% off the brands in the box, which is valid until the 10th August.

The first thing to jump out at me was the travel size 50ml of Laidbare's wonderful Butter Me Up Organic Shea Body Butter which is sublime. I had a pot of this scented delight way back 2013 review, so I'm very pleased to have this lush jasmine scented cream back in my stash! This size is worth £10.

From The Castilian Soap Company is a full size (250ml - worth £8) of their Limited Edition Clear Bottle Castile Soap with Tea Tree Essential Oil. I'm going through a lot of hand wash at the moment so this will be very useful - I only wish it came in a pump bottle for ease of use beside the basin! (it's a nice addition to the box however).

I adore Balm Balm's Rose Floral Water Hydrosol having used it many time before. This is a handy try-me size or good for travel (30ml - £8.50). Use it as a toner or for a mid-afternoon freshen up!

The final item this month is from Urban Veda - a full size of their Soothing Clarifying Night Cream (50ml - worth £19.99!) I haven't actually used this product before but I've tried others from the Soothing range. It'll plump, renew and repair the skin overnight and the gentle aroma helps to calm mental fatigue.

It's a great box this month (as always!) Are you a subscriber? What are your thoughts?

*Love Lula Beauty Box: September 2019

*productsample Love Lula's September Beauty Box is worth £65 and contains a range of products I'm looking forward to using (some of which, I've used before!) As ever there's a code for a very generous discount of 25% for any of the brands in the box.

Inside this month are 4 full sizes!

From Madara there is their Infusion Vert Body Cream (200ml - £17) which is a lovely addition to this month's box.  It's got a beautiful lemon/herbal scent. I reviewed the matching hand cream* and body oil* HERE - I loved them so I'm looking forward to testing out the body cream.

I've tried Kathleen Natural's Tranquil Fields Bubble Bath (150ml - £18) before in last September's Skin Organic's Clean Beauty Box. I absolutely adore the matching Body Oil.

I'm still on the lookout for the perfect natural mascara so was over-the-moon to see Emani Vegan Cosmetics Soy Mascara in Midnight (10ml - £18) nestling in the box this month. It acts as both a mascara and lash treatment and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

From Balm Balm is their newest launch, Little Miracle Cleanser (30ml - £12) which I'm looking forward to testing out (I love affordable and effective Balm Balm). This nourishing cleanser will make short work of make up and daily grime leaving the skin feeling clean and comfortable.

The final item (in this great box) is a sachet of Urban Veda's Rose+Botanics Reviving Body Wash 10ml (which you can find in the sample selection for 25p - you can choose up to 5 samples (minimal charge) with a £10+ order.

*Love Lula: Summer Holiday Beauty

I'm just back from two weeks in fabulous Croatia. We stayed on Korcula Island and had a few nights in Dubrovnik which was both relaxing and busy, busy (I'll share my tips and holiday memories in another post).

#productsamples As a Love Lula Accredited Blogger I selected products which I could use on holiday mainly this month. I did review Kure Bazaar's gorgeous new Ginger Lip & Nail Balm* (see HERE) earlier in the month. Please note there's one affiliate links on my post. So lets begin..

I'm always on the look out for the perfect product to prolong my tan and ORGANii's After Sun Cream (50ml - £3.50)* was both lovely to use being both nourishing and cooling on sun warmed skin (the sun was actually too hot for us to do much sunbathing but we caught some sun walking around).

The light cream absorbs easily onto the skin, has a gentle vanilla scent and nourishes and moisturises the skin. It's great value for money and very effective and I'll be looking to try more products from the range.

To use: apply liberally to clean dry skin after sun exposure.

I'm always on the lookout for the perfect shampoo bar and my hair's been loving this newly launched one by My.Haircare. I chose Rescue My.Hair Hydrate Shampoo Bar (£13.95 for 80g)*. I was impressed by the foamy sudsy lather and the delicious rose/bergamot scent. I've found the shampoo to be very nourishing and rejuvenating on my dry-coloured hair and I can't wait to try the others from the range.

To use: wet hair, lather the bar between your hands like you would a bar of soap before massaging onto the hair. Rinse.

I'm a huge fan of sachets for either try-me or holidays and usually save a stash up for when I know I'm going away. As you'll probably know you can pick up 5 samples (at a minimal charge) with an order of £10+. See the current selection HERE.

I chose 4 x body wash sachets* from Urban Veda, a brand I've tried before and loved. These creamy washes are excellent try me sizes/for the gym/or holidays. I enjoyed using them all - they were soothing and beautifully scented (full sizes now on the wishlist!)

I've fallen totally head-over-heels for Ayumi's Turmeric & Bergamot Range - I especially love their face wash.  Love Lula very kindly gifted me a selection of samples* from the range which I also packed for my holiday - and now of course I need the face wash, face cream and face mask full size! The range has a beautiful uplifting citrus scent and is perfect for summer or for a cheer up as we come into autumn!

Did you pick any of these up for your summer holidays?

Love Lula: Beauty Box: November 2018

It's always an exciting day when my Love Lula Beauty Box* arrives! This month there are 3 full size products and 2 generous trial sizes. The box is worth a huge £66 this month. So what's inside..

From Alteya Organics is their Organic Rosehip Seed Oil 20ml (£8.75) which is lovely. The 100% certified organic cold pressed Rosehip Seed Oil is rich in essential fatty acids. I'm looking forward to testing this out properly but loved it on first try.

A little bit controversial is The Perfect V Gentle Exfoliator 50ml (£31) which is a range created for the bikini area - use it before or after shaving to help prevent in-grown hairs and redness. The packaging is beautiful and very luxurious but it's not a product I'd use (I've passed it onto someone I know will use and appreciate it!)

From Urban Veda we have their Purifying Exfoliating Facial Polish 125ml (£12.99) which has been recently reformulated. The creamy polish seems to have the perfect amount of scrubbiness (natural pumice) and has a zingy spearmint scent. It helps to remove impurities and blackheads. Looking forward to trying this brand out again.

The two trial sizes are: REN's Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask 15ml which helps leave the skin looking radiant while reducing fine lines and improving skin tone and Natura Siberica's Oblepikha Hand Cream 30ml which I've used before and loved.

Latest in Beauty: Beauty Guru: Build Your Own Box

I'm a huge fan of Latest in Beauty and their "Build your Own Box". I choose "Beauty Guru" which is 9 products for £18 a month including p&p. (you can also choose 3 products for £9 per month or 6 products for £15 per month). Sign up HERE. I think this month is one of my favourite boxes.

So what did I pick? (oh and you also get a free sample or two).

WOW!

I'm a huge fan of Jurlique's Rosewater Balancing Mist (15ml) and have picked this up again and again. I first tried it in 2013 (mini review) and no doubt it'll be a choice again!

I was pleased to see Tropic Skincare as a pick! I picked up a 5ml size of their fab Super Greens Nutrient Boost Serum. I've tried it before and loved it. See my review HERE.

Totally new to me brand is 58 Lifestyle and I picked a 50ml bottle of their Balancing Bath Oil which has notes of Green Mandarin, Geranium, Coriander, Jasmine and Ylang Ylang. There's also a code for 15% off any of their products (upon checking the website this bath oil normally costs £25!) A review will follow as the product looks and smells gorgeous!

I'm a huge fan of Neal's Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm and I picked up a generous 15g trial size.

From Aurelia Probiotic Skincare is their gorgeous Revitalise & Brighten Hand Cream 7ml. See my review HERE. If this is a pick I always pick it up as I love it so! (and these size are great for my handbag or in the desk drawer!)

The Natural Lipsticks from Burt's Bees are absolutely fantastic (these retail at £9.99 each). I've already got both these colours which I love - 501 Blush Basin and 523 Sunset Cruise (I've earmarked these ones for Christmas gifts!) Both are very wearable with long lasting colour.

Also from Burt's Bees is their Spring Splendour Lip Gloss which is in a pretty pink shade.  I'm a huge fan of PHB Ethical Beauty (I love their Organic Eyeliner in Brown). This Lip Crayon in Pink which is my final choice this month can be worn all over the lips or as a liner.

I also got some free samples:

Regenerate Advanced Toothpaste 14ml (I've tried this before and really liked it)
Urban Veda Turmeric+Botanics Radiance Replenishing Night Cream 2.5ml sachet
Philosophy Amazing Grace EdT 1.5ml vial
15% off code for 58 Lifestyle.

What do you think of my picks? Have you picked up a box lately?
