Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box: Ambiance: November 2020

Sadly this is the last of the bi-monthly Skin Organics Clean Beauty boxes as founder, Paula has decided to do something new next year. I'm excited to see what she brings us as her carefully curated boxes have always brought a smile to my face and a new brand or two. November's theme is "Ambiance" and inside are a whole host of beautiful products including an item I've never seen in a beauty box before.

And so, for a closer look..

WOW just WOW! Going out with a total bang. What a carefully curated selection. All the brands apart from one are known to me. I've never before seen a reed diffuser in a beauty box!

I absolutely adore beautiful Skin Elixir (I'm currently testing out their Magnificent Night Oil, it's a beauty - expect a review soon!) I was made up and then some at seeing my little quote on the info card!) Inside the November Skin Organics Clean Beauty box is their Organic Frankincense & May Chang Moisturiser 15ml (£10). I've tried this before and my skin loved it, so I'm happy to have it back in my stash! See my review HERE.

A mini reed diffuser from help me organics is just so lovely and so unique as well as being perfect for Christmastime - Apparently I need to Chill Out is the scent - how apt! This is worth £10 also and the aroma will help you rebalance and relax - bring it on!

Hunter's Moon is a totally new to me brand and inside is a sachet of their Sleepy Bath Salts (£4.50) with Lavender & Bergamot which will clear your mind and soothe your soul. These are lovely. I'll definitely explore this brand more.

From Myroo Skincare is their Calming Marula Super Boost Drops 13ml (£15) which now come with an eco-friendly aluminium lid. I've used this lovely skin treat before. See my review HERE.

Also inside is a delectable duo from No Secrets Beauty in the form of a mini pot of their No. One Hand Butter (£10) and a sachet of their No. Four Hand & Body Butter. I've used this beautiful brand before so I'm happy to see them in the box.

Rounding up this amazing November box is a delicious bar of Orange Dark Chocolate by Choc Affair which is worth £2.95 and tastes delicious!

An amazing box, what are your thoughts?

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box: Sunset: September 2020

My Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box arrived the other day and it's absolutely fantastic! This month the theme is "Sunset" and inside are five products - one I've tried before, two brand new-to-me brands and two known to me brands but I've not tried the products in the box. How exciting!

WOW! The first item to jump out at me is Organic Works, a new-to-me brand. Inside is their Lavender Shower Gel (300ml - £12). It has a rich lather and feels silky on the skin with a gentle lavender aroma. I absolutely love it! A full review to come.

The second new-to-me brand (although I follow them on socials) is Fais Botanicals and inside is their cute Kiss It Lavender & Chamomile Lip & Skin Balm (15g - £8.50) which is great for lips, cuticles and dry patches. Again review to come.

I discovered Help Me Organics via my Skin Organics Clean Box and inside is their "it's way past my bedtime" candle (150g - £12) which smells glorious. I've been lighting candles again so this is great coming into autumn and for a restful night's sleep. A lovely addition to the box.

From Ezape Naturals is their latest launch (though they've been out a while now!) Lavender & Chamomile Bath Salts (250ml - £17). I adore bath salts so I'm looking forward to trying these.

Rounding up the box is a product I've tried before - NUORI's Vital Eye Cream (3ml - £11.95) which I loved.

It's a great box for me - I absolutely love it! Are you a subscriber? What are your thoughts?

Room Sprays & Mists: Bath & Body Works, Elm Road, Avon, Help Me Organics, NorthburN

*means I received the product complimentary These are the Room Sprays and Mists which I use regularly.  I picked up the Bath & Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin when in the States. It's absolutely delicious! It has a beautiful spicy and sweet scent and a little goes a long way.

Elm Road, a Beauty Shortlist Commended Award Winner for their Happiness Natural Essential Oil Botanical Mist* is gorgeous. It previously appeared in my BSL winners top picks. See HERE. It's a deliciously citrus which is uplifting notes of bergamot, neroli and mandarin along with rosewood, geranium, rosemary and pine needle.

Cheap & Cheerful, Avon's Plum & Nectarine Scented Spritz brings a burst of uplifting fruity notes which reminds me of summer. This Coco & Sandalwood Home & Linen spray from Molton Brown (now discontinued) has a gorgeous summery coconut scent - I'll be sad when I use this one up!

From Help Me Organics is their Help Me Have a Mindful of Calm Room Spray which came in my March Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box. It's a beautiful calming blend of aromatic Frankincense, Geranium Bourbon and Lavender.

Rounding up my collection is NorthburN's gorgeous Rebalance Aroma Mist* which I reviewed HERE.

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box: Meditate: March 2020

It's always an exciting day when my Bi-Monthly Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box lands! This month the theme is #Meditate and inside are five fabulous products to help you calm down and relax (and in this climate a bar of soap is very welcome!!) From the five brands, two are new-to-me and three I've tried before and loved their products.

The contents of the box smelled gorgeous even before I opened it up! Really excited to try everything out.

And for a closer look:

Refresh Tea & Soap Co is totally new to me. Inside is their zzz-Zone Out Bath Bar (£12 - 125g). This smells glorious and contains purple tea along with woodsy and citrus notes. Looking forward to trying it out.

From Skin Alchemist Apothecary we have a dinky (50g) Sweet Dreams Intensive Skin Treatment (£15) which is an indulgent treat. Light the candle, letting the gentle perfume soothe you before blowing it out and pouring the rich and luxurious blend over your skin for a pampering massage (you can also pour the warm wax into your bathwater to create "an ultimate home spa" experience).

A second new to me brand in the form of Om Shanti Alchemy and inside the box is their FIRE Meditation Oil (10ml - £8) which comes with a free Fire Meditation to download. This is simply stunning (it contains my fav neroli along with sandalwood and mandarin) and is infused with reiki to ignite your inner fire during meditation practice. It also works as a daily support during the winter months.

I was first introduced to helpmeorganics via this box and the brand is really lovely. Inside this month is their helpme have a mindful of calm - room spray (50ml - £9) which is a gorgeous relaxing and calming blend of frankincense, geranium bourbon and lavender.  One spray and you're in heaven!

The final item is by a brand I know well Blue Labelle (I'm actually hoping to meet founder Pascale in the summer at the shop!) Her Argan & Sea Buckthorn Facial Oil (10ml - £7.50) is an absolute delight. See my review HERE.

It's a fabulous box for me in March (I'm never disappointed with my Skin Organics box) - sign up HERE. Are you a subscriber?  What did you think of the contents this month? (A subscription costs £25 plus p&p every two months).

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box: December: Merry Christmas

It's always an exciting day when my Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box arrives! Inside are 6 treats including a delicious looking bar of chocolate!

I'm currently testing Guiltless Skin's Illume Moisture Serum (30ml - £26) so know already this is a fab item and great addition to the box. It's also a full size item.

KONJAC Sponge Blitzen's Nose (£6.99) is a fun but useful item. It contains oil-absorbing bamboo charcoal which will be great to use on my oily T-zone especially around my nose.

I've had a Help Me Organics Candle before which was lovely. This one - Help Me Get into the Festive Spirit (£7.50 for 75g) has a gorgeous festive scent with Fir, Clove, Ginger, Sweet Orange and Lemon in a soy wax base. I'm looking forward to burning it!

ClockFace Beauty is a new to me brand and inside is their Enhanced Recovery Body Oil Spray with Clary Sage & Geranium 30ml (£25) I've already tried this out and I adore the scent. A review will follow!

I'm a huge bar of soap fan and inside is Christmas Cwtch (£4.50) from Celtic Herbal which has a delicious cinnamon/orange scent.

LOWTOXBOX - December 2017

WOW! The December LOWTOXBOX* is absolutely fantastic! It's absolutely stuffed full of gorgeous green beauty, edibles and lifestyle items all chosen with care. Month by month a UK subscription costs £22.50 including p&p and a one off box is £25 including p&p. I'm very, very tempted to sign up!

Founder, Lucy became interested in natural products when suffering from a skin complaint and sought out natural alternatives. After finding products which suited her skin she decided to compile a list of natural products she wanted to try - teas, snacks, toothpaste, sunscreen, beauty etc.

LOWTOXBOX was born in March 2017 and minimal packaging is used for each box (for further information about what's in the box you can find on the website) and for each box sold they'll plant a tree (WOW).

So without further ado here's what's inside December's box:

Emily Crisps Crunchy Red Apple 15g which are totally delicious! (I'll be seeking these out locally). Crispy and sweet they are a great snack at only 62 kcals. Real Handful Blood Orange & Dark Chocolate Fruit+Nut+Chocolate Mix 40g (less than 170 calories) also look yummy and I'm looking forward to trying!

I'd heard of I am By Nature but hadn't tried anything until now! Their Medhini Face Scrub is single use. You mix up the three pods which are inside the recycleable box (exciting!)

I'll make sure to review this one when I get a chance to test it out.

Kabloom Cornflower Fairy Lights Seedbomb which contains a colourful mix of polka dot cornflowers which are great to brighten up dull spaces and the flowers are loved by bees! I think this is a great addition to the box and a brand I haven't heard of. (I'll be testing it out up at the allotment!)

Soapy Skin Holistic Lemongrass Soap 100g which is again a new to me brand. The soap smells uplifting and will energise and revive the skin. I'm a huge fan of bars of soap so looking forward to trying it. (review will follow)

And now I love everything about these treats! The packaging is absolutely exquisite and what's inside is delicious! Another new to me brand The Veda Soul Company who create everything with love, care and attention to detail. The ranges are 100% Vegan, 100% Organic and free from refined sugar. Inside December's LOWTOXBOX are their Awaken - Lemon & Ginger Oat Delights which are seriously yummy.

I've tried Help Me Organics before (and I loved the Room Spray I tried) so I'm happy to see a beautiful soy candle by the brand which has been made exclusively for LOWTOXBOX - "help me have a mindful of calm" which is scented with Frankincense, Geranium Bourbon and Lavender (and is lush!) Again, will review when I have the chance to burn it.

And the wonderfulness of the LOWTOXBOX keeps going on and on..

Next up we have Eco Glitter Fun exclusive LOWTOXBOX mix which is biodegradable glitter made from a certified biodegradable cellulose film which means once it has been used it will safely biodegrade causing no harm to Mother Earth. The sparkles come with a mini tin of aloe vera application gel (cute!)

From Bubbly Badger, a vegan bath bomb in Apple Pie & Custard which smells mouthwatering (large) and turns the water green and you'll smell the apples. As it dissolves further you'll be able to smell creamy custard. The bomb weighs over 180g and will fizz for up to 5 minutes - so looking forward to trying this out! (photos will follow for sure).

The final item this month is from Scottish brand Stoats which I'm already a fan of! Inside is their Apple & Cinnamon Porridge Oats Bar. Yum!

I think the December box is absolutely amazing. Sign up for January HERE.

*complimentary - thanks so much to LOWTOXBOX for a fabulous Christmas box.

Shopping my Stash #91

Here's what I've been reaching for:

Fabulous new to me brand help me organics (I received their "help me it's way past my bedtime" Room Spray) in the brilliant Skin Organics Beauty Box see my thoughts on the August Self Care Box* HERE. The spray contains melissa, lavender, eucalyptus and ginger in a witch hazel base. It calms and destresses and is great to use before bed for a restful and peaceful night's sleep.

From John Masters Organics is something I always have in my stash - their fabulous Rose & Apricot Hair Milk which I reviewed HERE.

I recently tried some try me sizes from OKKO which I loved. I've been enjoying their delicious coconut & lime lip balm which is available at Love Lula.  The balm is super moisturising and smells delicious. My only bug-bear is that you have to be careful not to push the balm up too much (as it won't go back down again!) I do however love the recyclable packaging.

This new lipstick (South Pacific Coral) from Antipodes is absolutely gorgeous! The colour is a beautiful long lasting coral shade. It deeply nourishes the lips and the shade is perfect for summer and coming into autumn. I can't wait to pick up some more!

I love the range of perfumes from Balm Balm. Rose Geranium is a sweet rosey scent which can be worn alone or layered with a mixture of the others from the range.

I just adore calm-inducing Isla Apothecary Reset Ritual Pulse Point Therapy* (10ml - £12)** which helps to reset "thought patterns that no longer serve you, clear stagnant energy and introduce calm".

It's a blend of Roman chamomile, eucalyptus and lavender and is great to use to de-stress and clear muddled thoughts. It's also great to bring relief to hayfever, itchy eyes, sneezing, congested sinuses, headaches and drowsiness. It helps me when I'm needing a helping hand with things like travelling or for a moment of calm.

What have you been reaching for lately?
