Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box: January: Regenerate

It's always an exciting day when my Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box lands! This month the theme is "Regenerate" and the box is stuffed full of pampering goodies including 2 new to me brands, 5 brand new products and 1 product I've tried before (there are also sachet samples from PHB Ethical Beauty). I'll write reviews when I've had the chance to test the products out.

So what's inside...

WOW!

CACTI Cosmetics is a totally new to me brand which are zero waste (love). The little mini Regeneration Face Oil bottle (£8.95) is re-usable (and the Avocado Lip Balm (£6.95) is presented in a cardboard recyclable tube. I'm very excited to try these out.

From Clockface Beauty we have their divinely scented Hand & Cuticle Roll oil (£12.50) which is beautiful. It's scented with Frankincense and Rose and deeply nourishes the hands and cuticles. I love it already!

Next up is new to me brand, Pure Lakes and inside is their Grapefruit & Lemongrass Shower Gel (£5) which makes for an uplifting shower. It's a beauty!

From NorthburN we have a beautiful Lavender & Vetivert Candle (£12.50) which has a 30-35 burn time. This candle will help you relax and unwind. Looking forward to lighting it up!

The final items are Okko Skincare Foot Balm mini (£3) which I've used before (REVIEW) and three PHB Ethical Beauty skincare sachets.

I just love the box this month. Did you pick one up? What are your thoughts on the contents?

Shopping my Stash #93

Here are the products I've been reaching for:

I picked up Stella Says Soap's gorgeous Rosewood & Geranium Hand Balm at Maltby Street Market last weekend. I first tried Stella's soaps a couple of years ago. The hand balm is a rich and nourishing blend of 100% pure and natural oils and butters including Organic Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Vitamin E and Beeswax. The hand balm smells glorious and deeply moisturises the hands. It's a keeper! My next purchase is going to be the Brittany Sea Salt Reed Diffuser - see HERE

I absolutely adore Antipodes's Sweet Pacific Coral Lipstick. The coral colour is simply beautiful, long lasting and moisturising. I definitely want to try more colours soon.

I'm testing out Renunail's Sensitive Nail Strengthener** which helps you to achieve stronger nails in 28 days. I had a bit of a setback recently so I'm determined to start again! Expect a full review soon.

I'm trying out all of the body butters* from Magical Tree and they are simply gorgeous! Flower Power is scented with Geranium Bourbon essential oil and has a sweet and floral scent. It's a rich blend of Shea, Cocoa and Mango Butter with Grapeseed, Coconut & Sweet Almond oils. I just adore them! Expect a full review soon!

It was nice to spot Alteya Organics back at Love Lula. I used the brand's Certified Organic Hair Treatment with Bulgarian Rose way back in 2015. See my review HERE. I've been testing out their gorgeous and very affordable Certified Organic Bulgarian White Rose Water (£8 - 100ml)*. It's very effective and lovely. Again, a fuller review will follow.

I love OKKO's balms and this Coconut & Lime Lip Balm is lovely (and leaves me dreaming of summer!) My only negative is that if you push the balm up too much it won't go back down again. I love the recyclable packaging though and the lush scent and how deeply it moisturises the lips.

I'm a huge fan of cleansing balms* and this one by Lucky Cloud Skincare is one of my favourites. See my review HERE

Shopping my Stash #89

It's been a long time since I did a #shoppingmystash post! So here's what I've been reaching for:

I received Madara's fabulous Daily Defence Cream (60ml - £15)* in June's Love Lula Beauty Box. It's absolutely fantastic and now one of my favourite Madara products. It's an ultra-rich all over balm - use it on the body, hands, face, lips, heels, elbows, cuticles and even for flyaways. It really does it all! I think it would be the perfect winter-time product so I'll be sure to stock up during autumn.

I love try-me sizes and these ones by OKKO Skincare are great - see my review HERE. I'll definitely pick up the natural face balm stick full size.

I adore Laidbare's Butter Me Up Body Butter (review) but I've not really tried any other products in the range until I received them in Love Lula boxes. I've been loving their DIY! Two in One Cleanser & Toner (125ml - £6.99)* which I received in the May Beauty Box. I've been using it mainly in my morning shower. It lathers up well and leaves the skin feeling clean and comfortable.

I'm a huge fan of bodhi & birch as you'll know and I love their bath & shower therapies. I recently treated myself to their two travel kits (review). Siam Ginger blend is one of my favourites - see my review HERE.

Helen, a friend on Twitter was heading to America and asked if I wanted anything. She picked me up this beautiful Bite Beauty Prismaic Pearl Creme Lip Gloss in Pink Pearl, a metallic pink with pink and red shimmer which is lovely and unlike anything in my collection (and the range is free from parabens, petrochemicals, sulphates and phthalates).

What have you been reaching for lately?

OKKO Skincare Try-Me Sizes

I've been wanting to try OKKO Skincare for ages but I'd just not got round to it. While browsing at Love Lula recently I discovered that you could pick up try-me sizes (4.5g - £3-£4) which are the size of a lip balm making them great try-mes or for holidays. There are 4 to choose from - see HERE.

My thoughts?

My favourite from the three I selected is the Natural Face Balm Stick Organic Clary Sage & Rose Geranium (£4) which apart from smelling incredible deeply nourishes the skin (this size of balm will last a two week holiday using twice a day). To use: glide over cleansed face and neck before massaging onto the skin.

Natural Foot Balm Stick with Organic Calendula and Eucalyptus (£3) which will last for 3-4 uses. Organic Calendula calms and soothes while Eucalyptus heals and refreshes. To use: rub over your feet massaging the balm in.

Natural Body Balm with Organic Frankincense & Lavender (£3) which leaves the skin deeply nourished. I got a couple of uses from this. This scent is nice but I'd have preferred it to be a bit stronger.  To use: massage into the skin.

I've really enjoyed using these and I'll be buying the Face Balm full size. Have you used any OKKO Skincare products?
