Shopping My Stash - Spending Ban Week 1

For the next 100 days I have to shop my stash (though I will get a few new items through the beauty boxes I am allowing myself).

These are the pampering products I have chosen this week -

Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask 60ml - I bought this mask a while ago and it cost roughly an eye-watering £70.  A light cream gel texture scented with roses.  It is gorgeous and I use it every couple of weeks.  To use - apply a thin layer to the face and neck and after 10-15 minutes wipe away excess.  A real pampering treat which smooths, brightens and plumps the skin. (and is worth every penny).

Palm & Soul Three Rose Deep Balm for Face & Neck 30ml - another product which I adore!  You can see my review here.  

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil 10ml - One of my favourite bath oils.  You can see my posts here and here.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Ultra-Moisture Body Oil 30ml - I received this for Christmas in a REN gift box and I simply love it.  Leaves the skin soft and beautifully scented.

Philip B Katira Hair Masque 60ml - I received this in the Selfridges Beauty Box.  I've used it a couple of times so far - leaves my hair smooth as silk and super conditioned.  Can be left on for a few minutes or overnight.  A full review to follow shortly.

100 Day Spending Ban

Well I've been talking about doing a 100 day spending ban for long enough and now the day has arrived!

Also taking part from today is Jo from Beauty and the Books, Caroline from Musings of a Beauty Addict Mum, Nardine from Live...Laugh...Love, Katherine & Sarah from Grace Louise Beauty and Emily at Rosella

The ban will run from 15 January - 24 April

My birthday falls within the ban time so if I am lucky enough to get given any money or vouchers I will be allowed to spend them.

I have two months to run of Joliebox (now Birchbox) and have a sub to Amarya.  I also sneakily purchased February's Beautylishious bag last week. I am not allowed to buy any Latest in Beauty boxes or any other items apart from deodorant or cotton wool pads.

I am allowed to buy birthday presents (for family and friends) and a Valentine's gift for hubby.

I am not allowed to buy any books, clothes or magazines (apart from my subscription ones which are already paid for).

Take lunch to work and try to limit spending on extras like crisps, juice and chocolate.

I will need to get a haircut and my roots done before the 100 days is up - so I am allowing myself this spend.

I am starting a 100 day spending ban with Jo from Beauty and the Books and Katie from KatieKat's Beauty Spot on 15 January. We'll need lots of luck!  Sam at Honey Go Lightly and Grace at All that Slap have already started their's!

I was inspired by Sophia at Tattooed Tea Lady and Helen at Beautifully Superfluous who both took the challenge in 2012.

I am allowing myself some beauty items - Joliebox (2 months left of my sub), Amarya and Latest in Beauty (if I fancy the box) - otherwise I'd go mad!  Essentials are also allowed but no other extras.
