April: Lately I've been Loving

Here's what I've been loving in April -

My friend Nardine (@Miss_Nardine) was in Paris and send me some goodies! Thanks again huni for my lovely pressie.

My other good friend Magi made me a personalised birthday card which made me smile!

We spend a great couple of days at The Hideaway Experience just outside Dundee. See my review here.

I became a proud allotment owner in April. Updates to follow!

Thanks to Lucy at LG Makeup for introducing me to Jane Iredale Make up all these years ago. I'm loving the new Just Kissed in Forever Peach* (already a huge fan of the Forever Pink version). This gives a nice warm peachy glow. Full review to follow.

Teatonics delicious newish tea company. Highly recommend Mind Awakening Yerba Mate an invigorating blend of yerba mate, grapefruit, citrus, peppermint and rosehip. Yum yum.

ZEEN Argan Oil* is a super luxe award winning 100% pure organic Argan Oil which is perfect for nourishing hair, face and body and has a nice nutty scent. A full review to follow!

What have you been loving this month?

10th Wedding Anniversary Trip: The Hideaway Experience & Lunch at Castlehill Restaurant, Dundee

We spend a couple of nights at The Hideaway Experience, a luxury 5* escape for couples at Balkello farm near to Dundee. We chose the Lovers' Hideaway, a super luxe and well equipped Hideaway - it literally has everything you need for a romantic getaway!  Caroline & Ross have thought of ever comfort making for a perfect stay.  A nice touch is homemade bread and a bottle of fizz awaiting you on arrival!

We had an amazing two days of total relaxation. The hot tub was a highlight as was the beautiful bath in the Spa Room compete with double showers and a sauna (it was also a real treat to be able to display all the beauty products I brought with me!)

Check in is 4pm and check out 11am unless you have booked the 24 hour break which has a 2pm check in and out.  See more details HERE.  The Hideaway is self-catering although you can buy some local edibles to enjoy during your stay - just ask when you book and you could enjoy Forfar butter, local strawberries, Angus Sirloin Steaks, Arbroath Smokies and Cairn O'Mohr wines (prices available by request).

Hope to return soon!
