Naturisimo: The Home Spa Discovery Box

I always love a Naturisimo Discovery box but hummed and hawed before I jumped in and bought one of their semi-recent ones (there's now a new Spring Glow one available, while stocks last). The Home Spa Discovery Box (currently still available) costs £19.95 and is worth £82). Nestled inside are 9 items:

And for a closer look..

WOW! Great value.

From Madara is their Infusion Vert Intense Antioxidant Body Cream (200ml - £17) which I've had the pleasure of using before. It's a rich cream which is intensely nourishing with a pleasant herbal scent (this is nearly the price of the whole box!)

I've had Bamford Pebble Soaps before and this mini one (40g) is perfect. It's scented with geranium essential oils and shaped like a heart. It has a beautiful scent and creamy lather. So nice to have one of these joyful soaps back in my stash.

From Weleda there is a 50ml tube of their Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash which I've used several times before. This orangey citrus scented creamy wash is lovely to use. See my review HERE.

Always love a bit of Dr Hauschka and inside is 10ml of their Rose Nurturing Body Oil which will soothe and calm the skin. Its the perfect size for try me/travel.

From Estelle & Thild is a full size of their BioCleanse Deep Cleansing Detox Mask (75ml which is worth a whopping £34.90). This was the product which mainly swayed me to buy the discovery box (but I'm well pleased with everything else within!). The mask will unclog pores and rid the skin of toxins. A review will come!

Inside is a 2.8ml of A'kin's Certified Organic Rosehip Oil which I've had the pleasure of using before. See my review HERE.

Whamisa, while I've heard of, I've never used any of the items in the range before. I'm looking forward to trying their Organic Flowers Foaming Gel (20ml) which is a gentle SLS free hydrating cleanser.

From Green People there is a 30ml trial size of their Quinoa & Artichoke High Shine Shampoo 30ml which I've tried before. Always a handy size to have in my stash.

BOUCLEME was a new to me brand last box (I've fallen head over heels for their Scalp Exfoliating Shampoo). Although the brand is mainly for curly hair types some of the products are universal. Inside this box is 100ml of their Intensive Moisture Treatment which I'm looking forward to trying out.

It's a great and well thought out box in my opinion. Did you pick one up?

September Empties

Here's what I've been using up in September:

Sisley Energising Foaming Exfoliant 15ml - I really enjoyed this refreshing and slightly exfoliating cleanser. I'd probably not buy full size but it was nice to try.

Estelle & Thild BioMineral Healthy Glow Foundation 121 2ml sachet - I really liked this foundation which gave light everyday coverage. I'd buy full size.

Miller Harris Lumiere Doree 10ml - I never finish perfume! I loved this light neroli scent which I'd buy again in a heartbeat.

Luxe Botanicals CAMU Brightening Serum 2ml - I love trying new brands but I just wasn't keen on the scent of this serum so wouldn't buy.

BAO Skincare - Face Recovery - loved, would buy full size, Stretch Away - wouldn't buy, Coconut Body Scrub - wouldn't buy, Shea Mandarin Body Cream - loved, would buy and Cocoa Body Butter - wouldn't buy. See my review HERE.

Sisley Floral Toning Lotion 30ml - nice to use but probably wouldn't buy.

REN Flash Hydro Boost Instant Plumping Emulsion 10ml - a light and easily absorbed moisturiser which I'd maybe buy when my stash reduces a bit.

Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil 10ml - loved this. Would buy full size. See my review HERE.

Kat Burki Complete Eye Creme Complex 5ml - which came as a magazine freebie. It was ok but dried out before I had a chance to use it all. Wouldn't buy.

bodhi & birch Super25 Botanical Serum 5ml* - from a stunning range launched this year. I've got a new one ready to crack open. See my review HERE.

Tropic Hair Feast 50ml* - oh how I loved this so! So much so I cut open the tube to get every last bit out! See my review HERE. Will buy this again. My hair just loved it.

Antonia Burrell Bright+Light Eye Cream 15ml* - which was amazing. See my review HERE. It's one I'll buy when my stash reduces a bit.

ORIBE Gold Lust Dry Shampoo 43ml - I'm a huge fan of these mini dry shampoo cans. I've just opened another.

REN Atlantic Kelp & Microalgae Anti-Fatigue Bath Oil 110ml - I received this from my pal Julie as a pressie and I loved it. Would buy again as I loved the seashore scent and it was nice for a relaxing dip.

P&G "Marzipan" Body Souffle 100ml - I just loved this. See my review HERE. I'll buy this again when the stash reduces in size.

BAO Skincare Orange Face Wash 5ml - loved. Would buy full size.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn and Evening Primrose Body Oils 10ml each - again, beautiful to use and I'd buy both of these full size.

ISUN Celestial Body Silk Sample - this is a really runny milk which absorbed quickly and had an exotic scent.

ila Bath Soak for Pure Relaxation 150ml - I just adore this soak. It's featured a lot on the blog. See mini review HERE. Bound to buy it again. And soon.

Jo Browne Natural Facial Cleansing Balm 50g* - which I judged in last year's Beauty Shortlist Awards. It was one of my top picks (see HERE) and I'm very sad that's my pot now done!

What have you been using up this month?

Naturisimo: Healing Makeup Discovery Box

You'll know I can never resist one of Naturisimo's Discovery Boxes. Their latest one is entitled "Healing Makeup" and contains 9 items - samples, trial sizes and full sizes. Costing only £17.95 (with free p&p) and worth £70.

It's absolutely stuffed full!

Inside is:

Odacite Black Mint Cleanser 7ml (exciting) - an ultra fresh minty gel which cleanses, eliminates excess oil and impurities. I'm looking forward to testing this out as I've not tried much by Odacite.

Pacifica Stellar Gaze Length & Strengthen Mineral Mascara 7.5ml - a full size product which I'm excited to try.

RMS Beauty 'Un' Powder 0.44g - a translucent loose powder which minimises pores and absorbs oil. Huge fan of this already and this is a handy size to carry about.

Bellapierre Mineral Blush Powder (Autumn Glow) 4g - another full size product which gives the skin a healthy glow.

REN Flash Defence Anti-Pollution Mist 9ml - a mist which shields and protects the skin from ageing effects of harmful free radicals and pollution.

Dr Hauschka Lip Gloss (Raspberry) 3ml - a rich glossy gloss with a slightly metallic raspberry sheen.

Estelle & Thild Healthy Glow Foundation (121) 2ml - lightweight wash of colour which evens out skintone and BioHydrate All-in-One Tinted Moisturiser (01) 2ml - blends onto the skin tone for an even and healthy glow. I'm always keen to try new bases.

Inika Organic Lip Tint (Candy) 3.2g (full size) - superhydrating Vegan lip tint which conditions and leaves the lips with a light colour tint (not sure this is exactly my shade).

I'm pretty pleased with this selection - what are your thoughts?

Estelle & Thild Super Bioactive Advanced Anti-Age Range

I've recently been testing out some products from the Super Bioactive Anti-Ageing range* from Estelle & Thild which is available at Naturisimo.

Pernilla Rönnberg founded the Swedish organic skincare brand in 2007 and it became an instant success throughout Scandinavia. Luckily for us, the brand is now widely available worldwide.

The brand is certified organic by EcoCert and products are free from parabens, mineral oil, SLS, petrochemicals, DEA, TEA, PEGs, dyes, lanolin and synthetic additives.

I've not used much from the brand previous but everything I have tried I've enjoyed - see my review of the mini body butters (here) and the Sweet Vanilla Blossom Body Oil gets a mention here.

The Super Bioactive Anti-Aging range contain antioxidant Marine Microalgae which nourishes and repairs stressed and tired complexions. The products help to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, help to delay the signs of ageing and have a pleasant slightly fruity scent.

Repairing Oil Complex (£59 - 30ml)* - this is a 100% natural super oil which visibly repairs skin cells and softens fine lines and wrinkles.  It boosts the skin's elasticity while nourishing the skin and is suitable for all skin types.

To use: AM and PM after cleansing. For best results mix with a few drops of Age Control Serum* before following with moisturiser.

Age Control Serum (£59 - 30ml)* - the serum revitalises the skin, hydrates and helps to smooth out and prevent lines and wrinkles.  It evens out skin tone, plumps and gives the skin a glowy radiant look.

To use: AM and PM after cleansing to give the skin a moisturising boost. A few drops of Repairing Oil Complex* can be added before smoothing onto the face and neck. Follow with moisturiser.

The Lifting Eye Serum (£39 - 15ml)* - is one of the nicest eye care products I've used. It absorbs instantly into the eye contour area smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, tightening, brightening and hydrating.

To use: pat a small area around the eye area AM and PM.

I've been really impressed with the performance of this luxury natural skincare range. I'm definitely adding the corresponding day and night creams to the wishlist! Have you used any skincare by Estelle & Thild?

Estelle & Thild Mini Body Butter Set

The first thing I bought after the ABW A/W '15 Sampler Box when I finished my spending ban was this little mini body butter set by Estelle & Thild (although I did pick it up with 15% off!)

Having loved the body oils from the brand I pretty much knew I'd love these. The texture is more fluffy body cream than actual butter. Light as air the cream absorbs easily leaving the skin delicately scented and nourished.

Inside the box are 4 x 50ml pots (£26.50) and I think they are a generous travel/try me size. They are 99.82% natural and 14.69% organic. Suitable for Vegans and free from parabens, mineral oil, SLS, petrochemicals, urea, DEA, TEA, PEGs, lanolin and dyes. The range is certified organic by EcoCert and made in Sweden.

Inside is:
Spring Rose Blonde: with violet leaf, sweet apricot nectar and spring blossoms.
Sweet Vanilla Blossom: orange, sugary notes, vanilla and creme caramel.
Sparkling Citrus Bloom: lemon, lime, mint, orange blossom and grapefruit.
Fresh Water Lily: with creamy peach blooms, florals, blackcurrant and fresh water lily.

What's your favourite Estelle & Thild product?

Spending Ban: Update #7: It's Over!

I lasted for 71 days on my spending ban - pretty good going for me! I knew I'd end up getting the a beautiful world A/W '15 Sampler - see my initial thoughts here.

Since then I've gone downhill...I stocked up on my favourite Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak (twice!), signed up again to You Beauty Discovery (picking the Mitchell & Peach Fine Radiance Face Oil 10ml and Dr Organic Royal Jelly Eye Serum 15ml.

And...while browsing Naturisimo's Xmas gifts spotted this little number...Estelle & Thild Mini Body Butters Set 4 x 50ml (which I got using a 15% off code).

I am however not going to start buying everything I want again as I've been enjoying using what I've got, watching my stash reduce and saving money. I'm hoping to be able to make considered purchases and try to not buy anything I don't really need!

October Empties

I'm not going to use up any more products this month so here's what I've used up in October:

Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak 200ml* and Weleda Arnica Sports Shower Gel 200ml* - I found these really lovely to use and especially loved the Muscle Soak. See my review HERE. Know I'll keep on buying the muscle soak as it's my favourite bath product this year.

Odylique Lemon Butter Hand Smoothie 60ml* - this was one of the nicest hand creams I've ever used. Will definitely buy (or drop hints for a new one) soon! See my review HERE.

Estelle & Thild Sweet Vanilla Blossom Body Oil 100ml - huge body oil fan and this sweet slightly chocolate/orange scented oil was beautiful. A definite re-purchase when I eventually run out of body oil (not anytime soon!)

Bodhi & Birch Ylang Ylang Incensa Bath & Shower Therapy 200ml - I'm a huge fan of their bath & shower gels and will pick this scent up again. See my review HERE.

2 x Olverum Bath Oil Sachets* - these were really lovely to use and I'll definitely buy full size at some point. I've already spotted it in Harvey Nichols. See my review HERE.

Senspa Himalayan Bath Salts with Essential oils of rose, lavender and cedarwood 500g - I picked these up on offer at Waitrose. Nice to use and I'll pick up again if they are on offer.

Yarok Feed your Moisture 4oz* - loved this deeply nourishing hair mask. See my review HERE. Will definitely consider buying once I reduce my stash of deep conditioners.

Flo+Theo Lavender Flowers Body Butter (sample pot)* - this body butter was nice to use. See my review HERE. Unlikely to buy as it came in a Petit Vour box from the US. I'd be scared of being hit with custom charges!

Botanicals Orange Blossom Body Balm (trial size pot)* - I loved this body balm. The scent was gorgeous and it melted onto the skin leaving it deeply nourished. Full size is on the wishlist. See my review HERE.

001 Rosa Damascena Essence Mist 30ml* - a real luxe toner which was gorgeous to use and a real treat. Perfect for misting over the skin throughout the day as well as using as a toner. Probably wouldn't buy it as it is expensive but loved trying it.

Blue Labelle Hand Oil 10ml - sad to finish this one also! See my review HERE. Will definitely be a re-purchase at some point.

Evolve Hyaluronic Serum 10ml - I absolutely loved this. See my review HERE. Would definitely consider purchasing once my stash goes down.

The Organic Pharmacy Rose Facial Cleansing Gel 10ml - I loved this! See my review HERE. Definitely a cleanser I'd buy full size.

Melvita Rose Extraordinary Water 25ml - I loved this serum like water which plumped up the skin. I would definitely buy full size.

Spending Ban: Updates & Wants #5

I picked up a staple product for me in the Tabitha James Kraan sale (£15.50 plus P&P). I use it every single day and at that great price it had to be bought!

Onto my wants this week:

Narynda Face Care Pack (£7.50) - I'm always a sucker for try me sizes and this little set is great! It contains cleanser, toner, face & body scrub, day cream and night cream - see my reviews of the cleanser, toner and day cream HERE*. I'm also keen to pick up the Body Care Pack (£5.50) (the heel balm is ace!)

Staying on the travel sizes...

I spotted this little Autumn Mini Treats set at LJ's Natural Solutions (£9.95) - it includes - 30ml Autumn Uplift Organic Body Oil, 5g Balancing Organic Moisturiser, 5g Organic Deep Cleansing Balm and 3g OMG Serum.

I was also tempted by (but didn't) an email offer from Naturisimo which was a free sample pack with any with purchase and included samples from: Spiezia, John Masters Organics, Inlight, Estelle & Thild and Patyka. Sign up for Beauty Alerts at the bottom of the main webpage.

I'm finding the spending ban fairly easy but I know there are going to be lots and lots of wants in the run up to Christmas! If you are on a spending ban how is it going?

Shopping my Stash #64

These are the products I've recently been reaching for:

The Library of Fragrance Salt Air Cologne (15ml) - this came in the Perfume Society's Jet Set Box. I love it's light and fresh sea-side scent. It has notes of sea salt, amber and and musk and it's one I'll definitely buy again.

001 Skincare Rosa Damascena Essence Mist* (30ml - £28) - this product came with me to both Jersey and Paris as it refreshes, rejuvenates and hydrates tired and dull skin. It smells deeply of roses and calms the mood and senses.

Estelle & Thild Sweet Vanilla Blossom Body Oil (100ml - £16.90) - a lush body oil which smells just like Amber said of Chocolate Orange! The scent mellows to a gentle vanilla. It keeps the skin hydrated and smooth.

The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip Balm (5ml) - this came as part of a freebie set with Elle mag last month. The balm nourishes dry lips and smells pretty good too! It contains shea butter, pomegrante, rosehip and Vitamin E.

COOLA Cucumber Melon Body Lotion Bar (78g) - I bought this to take on holiday. It's a solid bar of Organic cocoa butter, beeswax, Sweet Almond, Avocado, Jojoba and Vitamin E. It has the scent of summer and it melts on contact with warm skin.  Love the fact that it can be used both on body and face making it a great multi-purpose product.

What have you been reaching for lately?
