January Empties

Here's what I've been using this month. If a product is marked * it means I've been given it for review purposes.

*Micheline Arcier Aromatherapie Richesse D'Or Bath & Shower Crystals - I absolutely loved this aromatic treat for the bath, body and mind. See my review HERE. I'm sorry to use them up as they're just perfect for lockdown times! Definitely on the wishlist.

ZOJO The Bikini Body Formula 35g - I find this supplement helps supports my digestive system the most, although it does a whole host of things. See my review HERE. I'm sure I'll stock up again soon as it's a must-have in my stash!

*I absolutely loved Evolve's Pomegranate & Goji Aromatic Wash 250ml - it's perfect for your morning shower - uplifting and super fruity. See my review HERE. It's on my wishlist for when my stash reduces. Loved it.

Molton Brown's Frankincense & Allspice Liquid Handwash 300ml - it's only available from October each year until it sells out in the sales. See my review HERE. Unfortunately, I was unable to stock up for the year as it sold out!

I simply love Bodhi & Birch's Mint Thé Bath & Shower Therapy 200ml - it's the one I keep buying again and again - such a staple. See my review HERE. It'll be bought again soon.

*The Dr Hauschka bits are from the advent calendar - Almond Soothing Body Cream 10ml - nice enough, wouldn't buy. The two toners - Clarifying & Facial Toner (both 10ml) were really nice and effective - I'd buy both these again.

I just love Lush's Sleepy Body Lotion - it's on the wishlist - I'm likely to stock up soon! Perfect to use before bed for a restful night's sleep.

I picked up the little sample size bottle of Hand & Nail Oil Serum at Blue Labelle when we visited the shop in the summer. It was soo good to meet Pascale despite having to mask up! A beautiful aromatic product - full size is on the wishlist.

My final item this month is Zing Organic's Ah There! Body Oil 25ml which was nice to use but I prefer their Elevate Body Oil with Frankincense & Clementine so wouldn't buy this.

*ZOJO Beauty Elixirs Magic Cocoa

*sent to me free of charge as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program for an honest review. I'm a huge fan of ZOJO Beauty Elixirs The Bikini Body Formula* - see my review HERE. I've been trying latest launch the fabulous Magic Cocoa - High Vibrations Chill Out Cocoa with Mushrooms (150ml - £29)* which had me drooling as soon as I opened the lid as it smells of rich and dark decadent chocolate (without a whiff of mushrooms in sight!)

"Magic Cocoa chills you out and warms you up - all at the same time!"

A blend of rich raw cocoa along with Ashwagandha and various mushroom powders (Reishi, Lion's Mane & Maitkake) which helps to relax, calm, rejuvenate, balance and support. It'll boost your energy if you drink a cup in the morning, elevate your mood during the afternoon slump and calm and relax both the body and mind in the evenings.

To use: mix two tablespoons (round about 10g) in hot water or warm milk (I blend the powder with a little kettle hot water before topping it up with hot milk. I do find it slightly too bitter for my tastes so have been adding half a teaspoon of sugar per drink.

With prolonged use you'll see glowy and rejuvenated skin, a sense of calm and vitality and more get-up-and-go with Reishi mushrooms contributing to natural immunological defenses. I've found the drink absolutely delicious and have found it totally calms me down. Having a cup in the evening calms and relaxes both the body & mind before bed. I think it's absolutely fantastic and will definitely be replenishing the jar!

Have you tried it?

Love Lula: August Accredited Blogger Picks

*sent to me very generously free of charge as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger. Last month I started a new series showing my picks, followed by reviews where necessary. See my July picks HERE. This month I selected: a brand new product, one which had been on my wishlist and three sample sizes (which are available to buy with a £10+ spend (up to five). And so, for a closer look:

My first pick was Awake Organics brand new Natural Vegan Shampoo 55g (£12.99)* which comes in powder form. Mix to a paste before massaging onto your roots, lathering then rinse. It smells great (lemongrass+rosemary). Expect a full review when I get the chance to try it out properly (I love the aluminium packaging too!) It's good for weak, thinning and colour treated hair (tried it once so far, it's fantastic!)

Madara's Time Miracle Hydra Firm Hyaluron Concentrate Jelly (£30 - 75ml)* has been on the wishlist a while. It feels amazing on the skin, deeply hydrating yet very lightweight. I'm so looking forward to testing it out. Expect a review very shortly.

I love trying products before buying full size so samples are a great idea (5 can be bought with a £10+ spend). See the selection currently available HERE. I selected:

The Organic Pharmacy Peppermint Facial Wash Trial Size (£6.50 - 20ml)* is a great try-me size or for holidays. The minty wash is unisex and ideal for teens too. Again, expect a review for this one.

Rounding up my picks this month are two sachet samples from JOIK Organic, their Quick Absorbing Hand Lotion* (I got three uses from the sachet) and Softening & Deodorising Foot Lotion* (one small use). I loved both of these - they smell great and feel quite effective (yes, you've guessed it, I want them full size!) These samples cost 25p each.

From time to time Love Lula offer bloggers extras if they can commit to reviewing that month. I was lucky enough to be selected to try ZOJO Beauty Elixirs new Magic Cocoa 150g (£29)*.

As soon as I opened the lid I was drooling! It smells of rich and dark decadent chocolate. The blend can be enjoyed in hot water or warm milk and will revive your energy and senses throughout the day. Expect a full review shortly.

Have you tried any of these products? If so, what are your thoughts?

*Love Lula Beauty Box: November 2019

*productsamples My Love Lula Beauty Box* for November arrived the other day. This month it's worth £48 and inside are four full sizes and 2 sachet samples. I receive the beauty box free of charge as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger. I've used all the brands inside the box before but inside are five new to me products - I think it's a great box this month.

Inside is:

Nature's Kitchen Kiwi, Apple & Cucumber Soothing Face Wash 100ml (£10.99) which gently cleanses the skin of impurities and toxins and has a fresh scent. I'll be popping this by my shower for use in the morning.

I love the Ooh! Oils of Heaven Oils having done a spotlight on them way back in October '16 (there are now a lot more in the range!) Inside the box this month is 30mls of Organic Apricot Revitalising Face Oil (£19) which resembles the natural sebum produced by our skins and has a slightly nutty scent. It will revitalise, regenerate, smooth out lines and wrinkles and nourish. I'm looking forward to trying this out!

From Ayumi their is a huge 150ml of their Organic Coconut Enriched Hair Oil (£7.99) which can be used to nourish the scalp, roots and hair. It's rich in Omega 6 and will nourish and strengthen the hair. I like how it can be used as an overnight treatment too (it does have quite a pungent herbal rosemary scent which I wasn't expecting but I'm looking forward to trying it out!)

The final full size items is Madara's Hemp Hemp Lip Conditioning Balm 15ml (£10) which hydrates and protects the lips leaving them with a glossy shine and has a nutty hemp herbal taste.

There are two sachet samples rounding up the box. I got JOIK's Rejuvenating Eye Contour Cream and Zojo Beauty Elixir of their The Bikini Body Formula Food Supplement which I reviewed HERE.

Natural Wellness Box - The Sleep Collection

I spotted the first and second items which were in Natural Wellness Box's Sleep Collection and couldn't resist getting a one-off box with 10% discount (first order). You can also sign up Bi-Monthly, six months pre-pay (3 boxes) or twelve months pre-pay (6 boxes). See more details HERE.

WOW!

Having been introduced to Farryn Amber last month in my Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box (REVIEW) I was keen to try more from the range. Inside is their Lunar Evening Facial Oil (huge 50ml and worth £26). It's formulated with skin loving botanical oils and scented with bergamot+lavender. It's truly lush and a review will follow.

From Nathalie Bond is their Unwind Body Oil (30ml - £10) which is a luxurious blend scented with calming Lavender & Bergamot. This is gorgeous to use before bed for a relaxing sleep (I've used this brand before so know the products are gorgeous).

I've also tried Better You's Magnesium Foot & Body Soak before. Inside is a single use sachet worth £3.99. It'll help improve sleep quality and relax the body before sleep.

The second item which made me want to buy the collection was a NEW supplement from We+People entitled Sleep Well (£26 for 120 caps). Again, excited to try and a review will be forthcoming soon!

I love Zojo Elixirs The Bikini Body Formula (REVIEW) so was excited to see a try-me pot of their new Golden Adapto Latte which is the perfect bedtime drink.

From Teapigs there are 2 x Snooze Sleepy Tea bags which contain chamomile, lavender and apple and will help to relax and calm before bed. The final item is a Superfood Bar (£2.29) by Navitas Organics (delicious - I ate it at my desk one afternoon this week).

It's a brilliant box for me this time - I love that I'll use everything in it too. I'll definitely be checking out the next box in two months time! Did you pick one up or are you a subscriber?

November Empties

Here's what I've been using up in November:

Yellow Gorse Chai Tea Scrub - just loved this. See my review HERE. Sure to pick this up again.

OM Original Detox Shampoo 15ml* - sachets are great to try. I picked this one up at Love Lula and got two uses from it. It left my hair looking shiny and revitalised. Would maybe buy full size.

Korres Bergamot Pear Body Milk 40ml - this had been at the back of my cupboard so I thought I should use it up!  With an uplifting fruity scent it was really nice to use. I'd maybe buy it again.

Sunday Riley Tidal 8g - I really like this gel-cream. It's got a light texture and absorbs easily. I tend to pick it up when I see them up for sale on selling pages on facebook.

D’ALCHÉMY Age Cancellation Booster 15ml* - a really beautiful face cream which I loved. It absorbed easily, had a gorgeous scent and left my skin nourished and healthy. Full size is on the wishlist. See my review HERE.

Planted Circulation Boosting Orange Coffee Scrub 50ml* - probably the best coffee scrub I've used. Super moisturising and lovely. Will buy when my scrub stash reduces. See my review HERE.

Madara Volcano Scrub Soap - just brilliant. Really scrubby. See my review HERE. Yes, I'll buy this again.

Juno Skincare Elan Face Tonic Spritzer 100ml** - a beautiful product from a gorgeous range. Simply loved this and was sad when I used it up. See my review HERE.

Zojo Beauty Elixirs The Bikini Body 35g* - one of the best supplements I've used. See my review HERE. Will definitely buy.

Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter 29ml - loved this uplifting and fruity butter which absorbed quickly and left the skin feeling nourished and smelling of blood oranges. Gorgeous! Hope to pick up some more of these.

Stella Says Rosewood & Geranium Hand Rescue Balm 20g - picked up from Stella at Maltby Street Market last year. Absolutely gorgeous and I'll definitely be picking more up. See my review HERE.

Love Lula: ZOJO Beauty Elixirs: The BIKINI BODY Formula

I've been testing out ZOJO Beauty Elixirs The BIKINI BODY Formula (£17 - 35g - 7 days worth)*. I can honestly say it's fantastic (I love the packaging too!) It has easily become a morning ritual and I'm excited to try others from the range too - GORGEOUS* and SUPERGREENS (expect reviews soon!)

I've never personally found a supplement which suits my lifestyle or I take regularly. The ZOJO Beauty Elixirs are easy to fit into your daily life. Formulated with organically grown adaptogens, potent plants and superfoods and 100% organic. They also taste great and are easy to blend into juice, milk or smoothies.

ZOJO say "introduce this beauty elixir into your daily diet and you'll be able to unveil your body with real confidence".

It'll improve your metabolism, support your digestive system, speed up fat burning, increase collagen production, decrease your appetite and regulate blood sugar levels.

I think I'd need to take the supplement for a longer period of time to see huge differences but I'm impressed with the improvements in my gut health and overall vitality.

Mix 5g of powder into your chosen liquid and enjoy!

Have you tried ZOJO Beauty Elixirs yet?
