February Empties

I'm not going to use anything else up this month so here are my February empties:

Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts 100g - which are a staple for me. See my review HERE. I always have these in my stash.

Micheline Arcier Enchantement Bath & Shower Crystals 200g* - amazing! See my review HERE. I'll definitely buy these at some point as they took bathing to another level!

Jo Malone Red Roses Body Creme 175ml - which was lovely to use and seemed to last forever. I'd maybe buy it again (this one was a gift).

MOA Fortifying Green Bath Potion 100ml - again, an absolute staple and I went through loads when I recently had the flu. See my review HERE. I've just cracked open a new one!

Ravenscourt Apothecary Blood Orange Hand Whipped Body Butter 60ml - just gorgeous! I can't wait to buy it again. See my review HERE.

Ezàpè Naturals Rosemary Body Butter 25g - which I totally fell for, so much so I rushed out and bought full size. See my review HERE.

Lola's Apothecary Delicate Romance Balancing Body Souffle 30ml - which again I totally fell in love with. Again, rushed out and bought full size. Review to come!

Poppy's Natural Skincare Supermoisturising Organic Chai Seed Hand Butter 50ml - I've not bought it yet but I will. A light as air neroli scented butter which is totally exquisite. See my review HERE.

JOIK Luxurious Bathmilk Citrus* - which came in the JOIK Advent Calendar. The plastic pot didn't have a seal on it so had covered most things in a fine layer of powder (sad face). It was nice enough to use but I wouldn't buy.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion 20ml - huge Weleda fan and this orange scented lotion is lovely. See my mini review HERE. I've got a full-size of this waiting to open.

Green People Ho wood and Red Mandarin Hand Cream 30ml** which had a gorgeous scent and was really moisturising. It was a Limited Edition so isn't available anymore. See my mini review HERE.

Tata Harper Rejuvenating Hand Cream 50ml** - which was a real treat-y hand cream. I'd maybe pick it up again.

Jane Scrivner Skin Drink Frankincense Hydrating Mist 100ml* - oh I just loved this. See my review HERE. It's one I'll definitely buy at some point.

Apple & Bears Bergamot & Green Tea Body Silk 50ml** - this is my favourite scent in the range. See my review HERE.

What have you been using up this month?

Blog Highlights 2017

You can see my highlights posts for 2015 (HERE) and 2016 (HERE). Here are my 2017 highlights:

January:

In January, I tried Tropic Skincare again and have totally fallen for every product I've tried. I just love Super Greens Nutrient Boost Serum* which I reviewed in January. See my review HERE.

February:

In February, I discovered the wonderful Aster & Bay (who are now Edinburgh based) and totally fell for the glorious Rosewater Mist. See my review HERE.

March:

In March, I collaborated with the fabulous Mary Paulson-Ellis to giveaway a copy of her amazing book - The Other Mrs Walker (link). My review featured in my September 2016 round-up.

April:

In April, I took part in the Best of Skincare Tag (link) which was fun to do.

May:

We had a night away in North Berwick (one of my favourite places to be). It featured in my May loves (link). It may only just be down the road but it feels like I'm on holiday when I'm there.

June:

In June, I finally got round to trying the Votary Rose Maroc & Sandalwood Facial Oil which I received in the Liberty Advent Calendar. It lived up to all my expectations! See my review HERE.

July:

July saw me feature my top reads for the first part of the year (link) so hard to pick!  I also loved Esse Probiotic Skincare Gel Cleanser** which came to me as a member of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program (which I'm both thrilled and delighted to be a member of). See my review HERE.

August:

In August I discovered the exquisite Juno Skincare. See my review HERE.

September:

In September, I sampled a Zing Organics - Zing Lover's Subscription Box which I think is one of the best subscription boxes out there! See my review HERE (and my review of the Eco Marine Algae Facial Cleansing Masque HERE).

October:

As you'll know I'm a huge fan of the beautiful and gorgeous Skin Organic Clean Beauty Boxes. This light as air, fluffy and exquisitely scented Poppy's Natural Skincare Super Moisturising Organic Chia Seed Hand Butter (neroli) came in the  October - Autumn Glow Box. See my review HERE.

November:

In November, I'm delighted to say I've embarked on Formula Botanica - Diploma in Organic Skincare which I'm so excited about!  I've not really had time yet to throw myself into it due to my day job being manic and having the flu. I'm looking forward to starting it seriously soon (enrollment opens January 16-23 if you are interested!) Expect an initial post early in January.

December:

I'm totally honoured and incredibly proud to be a judge for The Beauty Shortlist Awards 2018. I've been testing out lots of amazing products - some already known to me and some which are totally new.

It's been a brilliant year! What are your highlights?

Poppy's Natural Skincare: Super Moisturising Organic Chia Seed Hand Butter

I received this divine hand butter (worth £10) from Poppy's Natural Skincare in my October, Autumn Glow Beauty Box from the fabulous Skin Organics Beauty Box

It's one of the loveliest hand care products in my stash and can I honestly say it's one of my favourite beauty products this year!

Founder, Poppy has always had a passion for natural and organic skincare. She has a background in Molecular Cell Biology which has helped her to create her amazing skincare line which is suitable for all skin types and which helps to address a variety of skin conditions.

The hand butter is a rich blend of Organic Chia Seed Oil, Mango Butter, Rosehip Oil, Coconut Oil and with the uplifting gorgeous scent of Neroli & Orange Essential Oils.  The texture is light as air and the butter instantly melts on contact with warm skin deeply nourishing the hands and nails. I know I'll buy this again and again! It's just fantastic!

Have you tried any products from Poppy's Natural Skincare?

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box: Autumn Glow

I've only been getting the Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box a few months now and it's definitely my favourite beauty box! This month I've only tried one product before. I'd already heard of three of the other brands and there's one totally new to me too! Costing £21 plus £3.95 P&P a month it really is great value for money (there are also money off codes included for most of the brands).

WOW!

One of the items which I knew was going to be in the box (Paula gives us a few little spoilers in the run up) was the MONO Radiance Facial Oil (20ml - £44) which doesn't disappoint! It smells beautiful and I tried it for the first time last night. The oil is crystal infused and amplified with the high vibrational energy of citrine. Expect a full review soon! There is also a little try me sample of their Radiance Face Cleanser & Mask.

From Poppy's Natural Skincare there is deliciously scented Organic Chia Seed Hand Butter (50ml - £10) which is light as air and absorbs instantly upon contact with warms skin - LOVE!  It has a beautiful neroli scent and I know I'm going to keep reaching for this both in autumn and coming into winter. In fact it might be my new favourite hand product! So lush.

THE WILD MIX has been on my radar for a while but this is my first try (the Regeneration Nourishing Body Balm melts if the central heating is on so I've popped my pot in the fridge for a little while) It does smell beautiful and I'm looking forward to trying it.

I've also been aware of XO Balm (45ml - £12.50) which soothes and nourishes the skin. It can be used on the face, body and hair to moisturise and protect. Again, looking forward to testing it out.

The final item this month is one I've tried before Southsea Bathing Hut's Botanical Facial Steam (8g - £5.00).

What do you think of the contents this month?

See my previous reviews - August (Self Care)* and September (Revive).
