*Love Lula Beauty Box: June 2020

The Love Lula Beauty Box* is sent to me free of charge as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger for an honest review. June's box is absolutely fantastic and worth £63. As ever there is a generous 20% off the brands in the box. Sign up HERE.

WOW! And for a closer look..

I've used lovely Humble Natural Beauty before and the ranges are gorgeous. Inside is there Sweet Pea & Verbena Hand Cream 75ml which is worth £8. The hand cream absorbs instantly and has a summery scent. See my review HERE.

I'm a huge, huge fan of Ooh! Oils of Heaven and was over-the-moon to see their latest launch inside the box. Marzipan-ish Organic Plum Conditioning Face Oil 30ml - £19 is absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to try it - review will follow! It's an absolute delight.

And the excitement keeps coming - what a great box! Also inside is Elsa's Organic Skinfoods Detox Natural Deodorant 60g (£18) which is charcoal infused and scented with Grapefruit, Ginger, Lemon and Neroli. I've tried one of their other deodorants before - see my review HERE. Happy to have a new one I've not tried before in my stash.

Rounding up June's box is Kathleen Natural's Citrus Cheer Bubble Bath & Shower Gel 150ml (£18) which has a nice zesty scent making it perfect for summer.

January Empties

I didn't do a December Empties post as I was in Miami for two weeks (and threw away things I'd used up there) and what I did have wasn't much so here are my January empties:

NUXE Nuxuriance Ultra Body Cream 30ml - my pal Julie gave me this just after I came back from holidays. I actually wish I'd had this on holiday as it was super rich and deeply nourishing. Would definitely pick up again.

Molton Brown Russian Leather Bath & Shower Gel 30ml - which I got with purchase. Loved this slightly masculine scent and would buy full size.

The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Face Gel 5ml* and Antioxidant Face Firming Serum 5ml* - I absolutely loved this duo. See my review HERE. I would buy both of these.

Odacite Black Mint Cleanser 30ml - love this. See my review HERE. Have recently bought full size.

Sisley Velvet Nourishing Cream with Saffron Flowers 4ml - which came in November's Beauty Box. Loved. Would buy.

The Organic Pharmacy Double Rose Rejuvenating Face Cream 10ml* - this is a beauty which I want full size! See my review HERE.

Evering Botanique GIGI Body Balm 15ml - a delicious body balm which my dry winter skin loved. See my review HERE. Will buy when I get my body care products under control!

Dr Hauschka Sage Purifying Bath Essence 10ml* - I quite liked this herbal bath which I found soothing. I'd maybe buy full size.

Weleda Wild Rose Body Lotion 20ml** - I love this rosy lotion. See my review HERE. Will buy at some point.

The Rose Tree Soothing Body Oil with Geranium, Cypress & Lavender 30ml** - lovely to use just before bed. Wake up with soft and smooth skin. Loved.

Palm & Soul The Beauty Serum Cocktail Bar** - which was formulated using ingredients I chose. See my review HERE. I loved this. Would buy when my serum stash reduces.

Humble Rose & Frankincense Bath Honey 275ml - I picked this up in Waitrose. Gorgeous. I'd used it previously. See my review HERE. Will buy this again no doubt.

Elemis Tan Accelerator 125ml - I always use this a couple of week before holidays. It helps to give a more even tan and prevents (well for me) prickly heat. I didn't in the event do much sunbathing on my last holiday! Will buy again.

Inika Micellar Cleansing Rosewater 100ml - I actually found this had gone off! I hate chucking out products. I had been keeping it for good when I should just have used it and enjoyed. Might or might not pick it up again.

Avalon Clarifying Lemon Shampoo 325ml - this is my fav detox shampoo. See my review HERE. Sure to buy again.

Blue Labelle Organic Soaps - Moroccan Chamomile & Rose, Rhassoul Clay & Orange Blossom and Eucalyptus & Charcoal which I absolutely adored. Can't wait to buy again. See my review HERE.

The Organic Pharmacy Rose Diamond Exfoliating Cleanser 2ml* - nice scent and product but sample too small to get a real feel of the product.

May Empties

I'm not going to use anything else up so here's what I've been using up in May:

Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream 5ml which was beautiful. This is a pricey cream so I'll probably not buy it. I'll definitely try and pick it up in one of the mini pots again.

Ermana Cleanse Balm 15ml* a lovely balm cleanser. See my review HERE. I'll definitely buy when my stash reduces a bit.

Botanicals Nourish Moisturiser 5ml* I adore any form of travel/try me size so I loved using this gorgeous moisturiser. See my mini review HERE. Would buy this moisturiser full size.

Madara Micellar Water 100ml which is a staple product for me. I've just cracked open a new bottle. See my review HERE.

Gallinee La Culture Foaming Facial Cleanser 120ml* which I simply adored. See my review HERE. It's one I'd buy when my stash of cleansers reduces a bit.

Aster & Bay Rosewater Mist 100ml I simply loved this beautiful mist which also contains Himalayan Pink Salt and Honeysuckle as well as Bulgarian Rose. See my review HERE. I'll definitely buy this again as I loved it.

Guerlain Midnight Secret Late Night Recovery Cream 15ml I used to use this years ago. Was nice to revisit and I'm sure to pick this up again. Great to use if you have a late night as it helps to revive the skin overnight.

Omorovicza Refining Facial Polish 30ml which is one of my favourite facial exfoliators. I've just opened another tube.

Molton Brown Frankincense & Allspice Hand Wash 100ml I adore this Christmassy hand wash and buy it up in the sales (it's only available at Christmastime). See my review HERE. I've got plenty remaining in my stash currently but I'll be stocking up again in December.

Philip B Oud Royal Forever Shine Shampoo 15ml which is a good size sample. This was nice to use and made my hair look and feel good. Might buy full size at some point.

TOSe Apothecary French Clay & Lemongrass Detoxifying Body Scrub 200ml* which was beautiful. It had a really uplifting scent and make exfoliating into a luxurious ritual. See my review HERE.

Humble Sweet Pea & Verbena Hand Cream 75ml* a beautiful hand cream from a gorgeous range. See my review HERE. Sure to buy when my stash reduces a bit as this was very effective and had a beautiful scent.

JOIK Rejuvenating Beauty Elixir sachet this seems like a lovely product but it is a small sample. I also loved JOIK's Silky Facial Serum with Cranberry & Wheatgerm oils.

bliss fatgirl slim arm perfecting cream 7ml this gel-cream absorbed quickly and seemed like it would be a nice product to use. Not sure if I'd buy full size or not.

Jo Loves Smoked Plum & Leather sample vial which I simply adored! Full size is on my to buy list.

Esse Gel Cleanser 5ml sachet I wasn't expecting this gel cleanser to be minty scented. I got four uses from this sachet (making it a great try me) and yes, I want the cleanser full size!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue 1ml huge fan of this eye cream. My pal Julie got me a full size pot at my birthday so expect a review soon!

Starling Aromatics Jasmine & Ylang Ylang goddess essence* this little gem of a product was a beautiful luxe treat. It smells simply heavenly and is studded with Himalayan salt crystals. It can be used for moisturising the skin, for massage or just pop it in your bath for a relaxing soak. They are £6 each so it really is an indulgent treat (it would be perfect for that romantic weekend away) I got two uses from it. I'd prefer less packaging (although it is sweet) and more product for the money.  I was give this one complimentary from the owner at Pretty Pink.

Love Lula: Humble Natural Beauty: Sweet Pea & Verbena Hand Cream

I've been meaning to write this review for ages. I love hand creams and this one by Humble Natural Beauty is just divine! (it appeared in my November Love Lula Beauty Box*).

It has the perfect scent for coming into Spring & Summer (and is also great to chase away the winter blues). It sits beside my bed and will be be replenished for sure! It's also great value at £8 for 75ml (lasts ages).

I've also reviewed some of the other products from the range - see HERE*.

With simple but super pretty packaging this hand cream is the ideal treat/small present.

It contains natural, biodegradable ingredients and contains no parabens of SLS. The cream absorbs instantly and deeply nourishes the hands and nails and leaves them smelling of sweet peas and summertime!

Have you used anything from Humble Natural Beauty? If you have what's your favourite product?

*I received this hand cream in November's Love Lula box which I receive as part of the accredited blogger program. All thoughts are genuine - I love this brand. Some of my links are affiliate links.

October: Lately I've been Loving

I can quite honestly say I love this Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak*. I'd go as far to say it's my favourite new product this year - and I've tried loads! See my review HERE. I know I'll keep buying it again and again!

My friend Louise has set up her new business called The Spoilt Sparrow selling these beautiful vintage teacups and saucers for #poshbirds. See her Facebook page HERE. Website coming soon! See my review HERE.

I signed up to The Stationery Lovers Club after reading Amber's post. They were offering new subscribers a free gift and mine arrived earlier this week. I'm a huge stationery fan and these are super cute (as well as being very useable!)

Roll on November when my subscription will begin. I've bought jam labels from the company so knew the products are of a very high quality (and have lusted after the gorgeous correspondence cards previously too!)

My friend Nardine gave me this beautiful cosmetic bag which made me smile as well as some lovely Fresh products (early Christmas pressie). More on them later!

Having my comment feature on the inside cover of Cesca Major's brilliant debut novel The Silent hours just about made my month...if not year! See my review HERE.

I had a great lunch with my friend Claire at Restaurant Mark Greenaway where we ate some delicious food - really can't wait to go back!

October also saw us back in London - which you can read about HERE. As ever we had a brilliant time!

We dined at The Gardener's Cottage (my second visit) where the menu is set and you share communal tables! Our fellow diners weren't up for chatting much but we ate amazing seasonal food with excellent matching drinks (and nicely not all wine! We had sherry with our soup and apple brandy with our cheese course)

I've also been loving trying out the very gorgeous beauty range Humble Natural Beauty* by Kate Humble. See my review HERE. Pick yours up with your shopping at Waitrose.

Humble Natural Beauty Range

A simply gorgeous new range by Kate Humble, writer & broadcaster has recently launched (available from Waitrose & Amazon). The products are simply stunning, affordable, come in delicious scents and are free from parabens and SLS.  See more details HERE.

I was sent - Rose & Frankincense Bath Honey (300ml - £12)* and Sweet Pea & Verbena Hand Wash (250ml - £10)* and Hand Lotion (250ml - £10)*.

Ingredients are sustainably sourced, carefully selected and kind on the environment.

The Rose & Frankincense Bath Honey* is simply a delight. It smells heavenly and makes for a relaxing and pampering bubble bath. To use: pour a small amount of bath honey under running water. A blend of rose, lavender, musk, frankincense, amber and honey. It would make a great gift (to self!)

The hand wash/lotion duo is pretty special too! It has a light floral scent with citrus, jasmine, patchouli and incense. The Sweet Pea & Verbena Hand Wash* gently cleanses the hands leaving them smelling sweetly. The Hand Lotion* is one of the most effective I've ever used. It deeply nourishes the hands and nails leaving them comfortable, hydrated and lightly scented.

An absolutely brilliant range - I can't recommend them highly enough. One of my favourite new launches this year.
