*Love Lula Beauty Box: May 2020

*sent to me free of charge as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program for an honest review. I'd sort of forgotten May's Love Lula Beauty Box was due to land so it was a nice surprise when it arrived on Tuesday!

Inside are 4 items this month with 3 being full size and this month there's a make up item! (squeals) The rolling UK subscription costs £14.95 and the contents this month are worth £51.

From Inika there is a Lip Crayon in Deep Plum 3g, a gorgeous rich wine coloured shade which is super moisturising on the lips and worth £19.50! A colour maybe more suited to autumn and winter perhaps but I'm happy to have this beauty in my stash. I'll definitely get a lot of wear out of it.

From The Castilian Soap Company is their newest launch in the form of their Natural Hand Sanitiser with Peppermint & Chamomile 50ml (£9.50). I bought and reviewed this recently - see HERE. I love its scent which reminds me of murray mint sweets!

From Skin Alchemists Apothecary is their Humble Warrior Cleansing Oil 30ml (£15) which is a beautiful silky oil which makes short work of make up and daily grime. I also like that it can be used as a face mask, a hair treatment, a massage oil, for flyaways and cuticles - nothing beats a multi-use product. See my review HERE.

The final item this month is a shampoo by Ayumi - their Hibiscus & Turmeric Shampoo 250ml (£6.99) which will add volume, shine and help to regenerate fine and dull hair (my hair needs all the help it can get just now - I'm missing my hairdresser lots!).

A great box I think. What are your thoughts? (a subscriber get the added perk of 20% off any of the brands in the box which is valid until the 10th of the next month - which is a very generous perk!)

The Natural Beauty Box: Bedtime Bliss: October 2019

I'd spotted Skin Alchemists Apothecary's Intensive Skin Treatment (£36 - 120g) was in October's The Natural Beauty Box and I knew I'd have to pick up a box! This month the theme is Bedtime Bliss and inside are Plastic Free products (a one off box is £25.95 or you can subscribe at £24.95 a month on a rolling subscription. This month the box is worth £63.

Skin Alchemists Apothecary Intensive Skin Treatment (I got Midnight's Serenade) smells glorious and I can't wait to try it. Light, leaving the candle to burn for 10 minutes or so, before blowing the candle out and pouring the warmed scented wax onto the skin for a luxurious massage which is a treat for the skin and senses. Midnight's Serenade is a blend of exquisite jasmine, rose de mai and sweet orange. Looking forward to this one! A review will follow. (I also like that the cute little pouring pot is re-usable.

I've used Eden Days before so know my body is in for a treat with their Rooibos Bush Whipped Body Butter. Inside is a 60ml pot which is worth £7.  From Ezape Naturals is their newish Ylang Ylang & Lavender Body Oil 50ml which I've used before. It's worth £13.

From Friends of Gaia there is a plastic free Spring Green Handmade Soap (£4) which is formulated with Green Clay, Lavender & Geranium and smells lovely. Alongside this is a Sisal Soap Pouch (£3) which is ideal for storing odds and ends of nearly finished soap. Use in conjunction with the pouch for a exfoliating clean.

I'm really impressed with everything this month. Reviews to follow. Are you a subscriber? What are your thoughts?

It's a beautiful brand and this new Bath Jelly in "one" scent (15ml - £7.50) is definitely in the treat category! Apply it over the body before sinking into a warm bath/or use it in the shower. The jelly will transform into a luxurious oil. I just love this one! So luxe with a exquisite scent.

I think this is my most favourite *Love Lula Beauty Box box ever! This month it's worth £101! Membership starts from monthly recurring £14.95 in the UK and 3 months £52.50 Internationally.

These all come in the perfect try me size/holidays size in their own wee branded pouch. Really excited by this gorgeous addition to the box this month. It's worth just over £20.

The second item to catch my eye is the 10ml of Skin Alchemist's Apothecary Sesenne Facial Elixir (10ml - £30) which is gorgeous! It's the perfect try me size or again for holidays. It has a slightly spicy scent and is a blend of 26 skin loving oils. It'll nourish, repair and rejuvenate. A review will follow!

From Madara is their Plum Plum Lip Perfection Balm (15ml - £10) which is truly lush. Super moisturising with a delicious fruity scent. I love it!

Skin Alchemists Apothecary: The Humble Warrior

In my March Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box which was entitled "Awaken" I received a full size of Skin Alchemists Apothecary's The Humble Warrior Complete Cleansing Oil which is worth a whopping £50! (100ml).

It truly takes cleansing to another level and turns my evening cleanse into a luxurious ritual. Formulated with skin loving oils including camelina which is high in plant sterols, healing andiroba seed and hemp seed oil which contains high levels of omega fatty acids. The scent is uplifting and calming and is a blend of lavender, neroli, ylang ylang, cypress and sandalwood.

To use: shake the bottle and then pour a small amount into your palm, rub hands together and cup over the nose to inhale before massaging onto the skin. Apply a warmed damp cloth to the face and hold for a few minutes before sweeping the cloth over the skin to remove.

I like that it's a multi-use product - use as a hair and scalp treatment, a massage oil, a body oil, for cuticles, after sun and a beard oil.

An absolutely beautiful product which I adore. Pick yours up HERE and sign up to May's Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box which is entitled "GLOW" (remember you can get 10% off your first box with BEAUTYBALM10).
