June: Lately I've been Loving

JOIK's Hot Chocolate Candle* is simply mouthwatering. See my review HERE. I definitely want to try more candles from the range (and hopefully at some point Love Lula will stock their new diffusers).

I love pretty stationery and #boxoflame by That Lame Company ticks all the boxes for me. See my review HERE.

The perfumes I've been enjoying lately (so sad I'm nearly finished that Miller Harris!!)

Two Eternities EdP by Walden* - see my review HERE.
Vetiver Insolent EdP by Miller Harris - I love this spicy vetiver scent.
Jo Malone Grapefruit cologne - the first Jo Malone perfume I bought. I love its uplifting citrussy grapefruit notes.
Kai Perfume oil - huge fan of this beauty! The body care products are gorgeous too. See my review HERE.
Balm Balm Mandarin and Bergamot Single Note Perfumes - these are simply gorgeous, fruity, delicious and perfect for summer. Love Lula are selling the minis set for £9.95 just now which is an absolute steal! See HERE.

These new Schmidt's sensitive skin deodorants in Coconut Pineapple (screams of summer) and Jasmine Tea are available to buy at a beautiful world.

I really enjoyed going to the book launch of Lesley Kelly's new book The Health of Strangers which you can pick up in any good bookshop or at Amazon. I love a signed book and it's now on the groaning TBR pile!

I love this little snap I took of a ladybird down at the allotment. Simple pleasures eh!

This pudding is total summer in a glass - vanilla pannacotta with strawberry soup, strawberries and strawberry sorbet! Delicious. Get yours at The Guild of Foresters in Portobello (I'll definitely be going back to try it again soon!)

That Lame Company: Box of Lame

I've had a couple of #BoxOfLame(s) in the past (see HERE and HERE) and I've loved them. Founder, Chloe works full-time and blogs and runs That Lame Company in her spare time. The latest one which I pre-ordered arrived yesterday and it's stuffed full! You can however still order one.

I just love the painted leaf bunting - it's so pretty! Other things which catch my eye are the pretty coasters, clay dish post-it notes, pad, the A5 rose gold painted clipboard, the pencil, pins, pegs, wooden print stand, washi tape...

A5 and A6 prints and a card. I love "you are capable of amazing things", "prove them wrong" and "be kind, work hard & stay humble".

It's a fantastic selection of goodies. Did you pick up a #BoxOfLame?

Recent Buys: Love Me Beauty, YOU Beauty, MOA, Latest in Beauty, Isla Apothecary, Craft Gin Club

Here's my recent purchases:

The last couple of months I've been loving the choices available at Love me Beauty. This month it's "The Enchanted Edit" and you can pick from Make up Forever, benefit, Merumaya and Nuxe.  My selections are above and I'm loving them all! I also like that instead of a box you get your picks in a cute make up bag which is different each month. Use my code SANDR174 to get £21 worth of goodies for free.  The cost of the box is £13.95 a month including P&P.

Another box I recently signed back up for is YOU Beauty Box which is fantastic value for money. I stuck with the original format of 2 items for £6.95 but you can upgrade to 3 or 4 (wish I'd gone for 3 as I love Olverum's bath oil which is a pick).

I chose FOREO's Day Cleanser which is worth £25! I'm looking forward to testing it out with my LUNA.  My second choice was OWAY's Color Protection Hair Bath 50ml which is worth £4.75. It's a brand I've not heard of before so looking forward to trying. The extras this month are Montagne Jennesse Soften Sock and Glove Masques which I'll happily try and a card for £25 off your first Everdine box.

You can also now pick up the fabulous Advent Calendar for £69.95.

I adore MOA's Fortifying Green Bath Potion (review) and you can now pick up 10ml single shots (£2.75 each) from the website. They are perfect for try me, small gifts or stocking fillers! See my spotlight on MOA HERE.

I'm currently obsessed with Latest in Beauty's Build your own box. There are products in there I pick up again and again. Cue Mauli RitualsMolton BrownKneipp and Aurelia Probiotic Skincare. Oh and I also love the Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream.

This beautiful Blood Orange & Vanilla Scrub (220g - £23) (smells so scrummy) by Isla Apothecary which I bought at Content Beauty & Wellbeing. It has the perfect amount of scrubby-ness and smells good enough to eat. Absolutely love it and want to now try more from the range.

I love stationery and this #boxoflame is just amazing. I especially love the other side of fear card (which is now on my kitchen pinboard!) Pick yours up HERE. There is now a blogger box available! I just went for the small size at £15 which is beautiful.  See my thoughts on the Spring Box of Lame HERE.

This month's Craft Gin Club box arrived on Monday and as usual is jam-packed with beautiful things. This month the gin is by Poetic License and is exclusive to the club - Spiced Orange and Cranberry which is best served with a slice of orange. Also inside is a miniature of their Northern Dry Gin, deliciously moreish Cranberry Snack Yoghurt Cranberries, Cranes Cranberry Cider and a bottle of Sonnet 43 The Raven Bourbon Milk Stout.  Get £10 off your first box with code BEAUTYBALM.

April: Lately I've Been Loving

So many loves in April (it's my birthday and our Anniversary month):

I've been testing out two shampoos* from the new range at AA Skincare and they are absolutely fantastic. Expect a review (and giveaway) shortly. Totally bargainous too at £5.94 for 250ml.

We had an amazing Anniversary Trip to Isle of Eriska Hotel, Spa & Island which you can read about HERE.

I won a beautiful bottle of Miller Harris Citron Citron EdP following the #30plusblog (@WeAreThirtyPluschat with Miller Harris a couple of weeks ago. Ten people who took part were randomly picked to receive a bottle. A review is forthcoming. It's totally perfect for spring and summer.

I've been testing out these exquisite MAULI Rituals Oils* everything I try by this brand I just fall in love with. See my review of their Discovery Kit HERE. Expect a review shortly.

This night-time use Moon Lip Balm by HURRAW! is fantastic. It is really rich and deeply nourishes the lips, is scented with Vanilla and Peru Balsam (which helps you to sleep) while Blue Chamomile soothes.

I received this cute little chest of drawers from my mum and dad at my birthday. It's great for popping in odds and ends and sits in my hall. You can pick one up at Lakeland.

I absolutely loved this little card from That Lame Company so much so I picked up their spring box. You can read my review HERE.

Julie gave me my first Urban Decay Naked Palette! Love it. What took me so long!

My pal Nardine gave me this beautiful notebook from Paperchase (I'm keeping it for good!). It is so pretty. See what other goodies she gave me here.

Discovering this lovely brand - PHB Ethical Beauty. Both products are amazing and reviews will follow.

I've just discovered Angela Marsons's series featuring DI Kim Stone. It's absolutely fantastic and I've just finished the second book in the series. If you like crime which makes you think and a fast paced story with lots of twists and turns you'll absolutely love the series.

That Lame Company: Spring Box of Lame

You know when you just randomly find a great company on twitter and you know that it'll bring you lots of joy? Well that's what happened when I discovered That Lame Company. I quickly ordered an Art print which is now proudly pinned on my kitchen pin board.

The company is run by Chloe and Charlie, two recent graduates who run the shop in their spare time. You can read all about them and the shop here. Follow on Twitter @thatlamecompany and Instagram HERE.

#BoxofLame has had a successful spring run and today is the last day that you can buy it!  Pick yours up HERE.

Packaging is super sweet and the Spring box comes with an Easter chick and a mini chocolate bunny.

oooh the goodies..

Inside is:

1 x notebook
5 (6) x Art Prints
1 x Gold Print (exclusive to Box of Lame)
2 x A5 notepads (meal planner & essential notes)
1 x A6 notepad (I should have done this yesterday)
2 x 50 post it notes
2 x Greeting Cards
1 x twig pencil

+ extra gifts from small business partners - in the box are pretty gift tags by Wrapped by Alice and a little pink fondant cake pin by Holly Illustrates.
